four games, two shots on goal, four PIM and a minus three -- gotta earn those minutes -- it still way early though and he just got here. Let him acclimate a bit.
-
He almost went home in late '03 when he got mauled by a St. Louis player in that game when Kuznetsov shamed himself with Low and St. Louis gooned up the Wings. He lost his taste for NHL hockey for what Detroit was paying. He requested an outlandish raise and won't be back. I thought he was a fairly good player overall.

Ottawa is 5-0 and, er, Dominating right now. I don't think they are looking to deal anybody away, but you always improve you team if the right deal comes.
-
If he is ready for the NHL you don't protect his development by leaving him in a league where he is head and shoulders above it. If he is still tearing it up in a month his promotion won't take long to happen. Besides our top two lines will be pretty tired with all those minutes they've been getting.

Of those 51 penalty minutes, how many are for fighting?
-
If it is trade deadline I bring up Hudler and release Cleary. Then I sign Matt Johnson as insurance for our skill guys. When the playoffs start Johnson sits.
-
Witt is a journeyman -- you are writing Datsyuk off after seven games? If I were Holland I'd do nothing because I can't right now -- no bucks no Buck Rogers.
-
I thought the clock had run out too -- I was expecting a whistle. If a back up who hasn't played in two years can make those little slant passes why can't Joey. I think Joey needs to consult with that Lucinda Basset from those anxiety attack radio ads -- I think Joey has a panic disorder. Funny observation on the broadcasts the last two weeks -- last week they were saying "Joey needs to stay in the pocket to allow his receivers to finish the passing routes", yesterday they were saying "He needs to get out of the pocket and force the d-backs to think.". Too funny.

What an exiting second half and great win -- enjoy the present.
-
"You don't have to be Tonya Harding to play in the NHL" lol Wish we had her toughness... If they have to make a decision on Tomek -- have a look at him here then or Grand Rapids.
-
Seeing that he is almost 26 years old and has one goal in ten games, they won't keep him around. The only comparison to McCarty is size and wardrobe problems.
-
The fact that you a teen (from what I have read) disqualifies you from a legit opinion as a "we" -- maybe your Dad is an alumn or lost some money, maybe you are jilted rooting for them as they lose (who cares). I went to Michigan and regardless of the football teams success -- I have the glorious advantage of the earning power of a degree from that university. It is just a football game -- don't let it get you down. I was feeling bad about the Notre Dame game but that passed in a second. Let it go -- you will ok.

He has a two way contract, thus he can be sent down without waivers but they have to sign him to a one way next season or he will become waiver eligible. He would have been snagged by somebody if waived.
-
Based on the seasons start, many are doubting he is a hockey player or exists period.
-
I'm telling ya, I have a lawyer who can do name changes... Hows this: Ryn Barnstrom! Gotta get him a look in Detroit. Honestly this really sucks but having a top five draft pick is appealing. Holland can draft another unknown Euro! *hurls*

Rage control, that all it is.

thats not why I created this thread. I have been a huge fan of Kronwall since he was 16 over in Sweden. I realize that he won't be out for very long, also the players listed below would serve as some freakin soild youth prospects for this Organization which is sorely lacking in that department. Not to mention Chelios is 43 and certain to retire after this season. I like Hutchinson too -- very good with the puck.
-
Bobby Hull Reed Larson Dennis Hull Al MacInnis Bernie Geoffreon PP blueline passer -- Bobby Orr, Marcel Dionne, Borje Salming, Brad Park and Lidstrom. Worst point shot: Terry Harper -- he'd float it in there or fan (gosh we were bad back then) which would crack everybody up.
-
Heard he had a nice tilt with Charpentier the other day. I'd like GR to keep him -- he has upside and could be a nice find if he develops. He reminds me a bit of Randy McKay, who was never drafted and after a couple years in the minors became an NHL reguler and a very good fighter...

Has anybody informed Henne that Braylon graduated? He is still throwing to high and deep to Edwards... I must say the Michigan offense is awful without Hart and Edwards -- we could see a .500 Big Ten season and no bowl game if they don't shake the cob webs. I still think they can pull off a win against a very good looking State team, maybe.

He won't go anywhere -- I don't understand Holland's obsession with little fellers...
-
I saw him fight a couple times when he played for Windsor -- he was pretty gangly back then -- he could be a good prospect. Stays at home, nasty temper but not stupid -- if he grows into his body look out. Thanks for the Info Fightfan, do you know anything on these two guys Jason Kostadine http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla....php3?pid=55076 Bryce Charpentier http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla....php3?pid=73323 Any info here would be great. Charpentier has a big heart and has NHL heavyweight potential -- holds his own with most and will fight anyone. Skills are limited but he still has upside and is very well conditioned -- switches well and can take a punch and answer (nice attribute). I'd love to see him develop into a full time AHL player by seasons end. Kostadine reminds me of Bootland with less talent and a better chin. Long shot if Holland has a say. With Filpulla destined for a full season at GR there is one less slot for a tough guy up front too. They should hang onto Big Snake too -- he could become a Kris King type player...

Look at it as a hobby not an investment -- anything post 1985 is not going to appreciate much at all. A magazine may say a card is worth x ammount of dollars -- finding someone to pay that price is another matter. I buy a few packs every season for fun. Good luck!

Making the playoffs healthy and fresh -- then lets go!
