True true, try explaining the realignment to the brains of the NHL. There so smart and know what's best for the game that I'm pretty sure they've all ready figured that out and know all ready that it is not good for the game.

Deal was good for NJ but hey I doubt Kovalchuk will re-sign with them. I don't think he will enjoy to much the defensive system in NJ.

Howard did go threw the same training process that Miller did. Let's all hope he turn out better then Miller or at worst be as good as him hehehe.

Kovalchuk won't be a Wing #1 Ken Holland won't empty the tank for him and Atlanta doesn't really want a Lebda / Leino so it won't be that easy to get rid of them. #2 The only way he will be a Wing is if he signs in the off season which I highly doubt because Kovalchuk wants the big bucks and Ken Holland won't want that because Wings got a system and he can't just back stab his own players. #3 Do we really need him? ... Rather keep the draft picks and there might be another gem in there. We're in the middle of injuries. Franzen and Williams come back this team will shape up much better then it's doing now.

No actually sir your missing the point that chances of losing / missing is much greater then your opportunities for a rebound or a goal. I rather get the faceoff win, get the puck possession give it to the point ... get a legitimate shot with someone in front of goalie and have a chance for an actual rebound or deflection.

He should of retired last season.

If you do have a good faceoff team then why even bother with it. It would be much better to get the puck possession then just shoot it and have the chance to either miss or lose the faceoff. Carter just got lucky nothing to do with talent just the lucky shot at the good moment. I can guarantee you that if he tried that 10 more times and he woudn't even get 1 passed by the goalie.

I saw it the year the Tampa Bay Lightnings won it. Martin St-Louis brought it to Montreal where they let us touch it and I found the Wings on it which was amazing ... was probably one of the best hockey experiences I had.

Wouldn't think Avs & Ducks had such a low attendance average.

To be honnest the other teams don't actually care. If it was the playoffs then that's a different story but in the season opposing teams won't really bother changing game plans for one player.

Beginning of the season I'd say trade Howard with a 4th rounder. With Howards play right now I think it's much more safe to keep Howard then Halak. Right now Howard > Halak

We might have the experience on our side but you never know what can happen any night in hockey. *Anaheim - Calgary - Edmonton we're all not that experienced teams coming in the playoffs.

Howard is going to be great next year that's for sure.
