Let the team have there break this year. Will get them next year . We're still the best team out there w/o injuries. We're just not playing like we use to. Could also be maybe Wings trying to get the 1st round overall pick up there Ovechkin.

Someone should come up with a new thread for prediction of injuries and length. We keep losing a player per week and it's keeping them out for weeks. You guys think the past 2 playoff has anything to do with the team not being able to rest and all or just bad karma?

On top of that here in Montreal we've been hearing news that a Quebec team is on the rise again. Some guy has been having talk with Gary and talks have been going very good. I say take out 8 teams (weakest fan/revenue) ... Insert Quebec / Winnipeg You've got yourself an amazing league with a great fan base.

It's really hard to do that in the NHL considering it's really tough hitting league. You've got so many young players injured ... imagine if the 50 years old are playing.

Why so much bashing for Hudler. This this more good then bad. Hudler could potentially develop into being a better player + saved us cap issues this year and I'm sure he will be back to the Wings once his contract is finished. All tho if KHL offers him a major contract which I wouldn't blame him to cash in. Why not take advantage if there giving you an opportunity to make $$$. He wanted to have a major pay for a couple of years then he shall be back trust me.

His answered his call thus far but he could be much better. Sometimes he looks really lost out there but overall I'd grade him B-. Give him a lil' more time. It's his first year and is carrying the load pretty darn good. Hope he just keeps improving. * I do see a lot of improvement tho since his 2-3 first games.

What the hell, last time I checked he was the jealous one that wasn't getting enough attention by the media (always in Yzerman's shadow) and wanted to go to a team where he would be the one. LOL @ Fed. it's like one of those relation ships that end which one part just can't let it go. Fed + Red Wings = Brad Pitt and Anniston ... which Fedorov would be Anniston in this case.

I completely agree with you Duck team is over rated. We had them on our heels but if the reffing was actually good in the NHL we would of won that series anyways no point in dwelling from my part. I also agree NJ > Colorado. I would also like to make one more switch Tampa Bay with NJ switching 7-8.
