If we actually beat the Ducks ... Facing Chicago won't be a problem. It be an amazing series and could easilly go both ways. To be honnest I'm really not surprised Hawks beat the 'nucks in the playoffs because 'Nucks don't have to many scoring threaths and they rely too much on there defense (which is not that great *overrated*) and on Luongo. I was surprised as hell tho when they beat the Flames.

Datsyuk has been playing amazing the past 3 games. He might not have the points to show it but his hitting getting his nose dirty going to the net. People don't seem to realize why Datsyuk and Hossa we're not producing. They think it's because no chemistry or both not performing well but people don't seem to realize that Anaheim had a counter line for Datsyuk which they we're getting shut down. Now what Babcock did was shift Hossa with Zetts causing Hossa talent against lines that weren't ready for that switch. Our #1 line is not playing bad ... there just facing probably the best shut down line in the NHL simple as that.

Even if we do, I'm sure Hossa wouldn't mind netting in the game winner.

Pens / Wings would be a thing of beauty.

I'd say bring Adkel because his more physical but I think we're owning the Ducks thus far ... I think Leino would be more important in this series then Adkel due to secondary scoring. I say Leino even tho I think Adkel is more energetic.

This kid is playing great I hope this guys a starter next year. His playing very good. I love his frame: 6'4" 206 that's amazing. This kid could be in the 1st pairing as soon as Lidstrom retires. For sure his a starter next year.

Well here's the thing, let me start by saying that this is a forum where people share there thoughts so technically whatever they write it's there opinion and what there feeling. Now let's be honnest I don't care how many times Wings have come back to win when down 2-1 in the series this is not then. Hossa's been a ghost, Datsyuk started to show the bright light ... we've got Holmstrom that's playing terrible and the supposed suspension that there accusing him of wouldn't be bad. We've got an injured Defensemen. The best line has been the Zetterberg line. The only guys playing amazing with the Wings are: Osgood, Stuart, Zetterberg, Franzen ... *Datsyuk (if he continues like yesterday) that's pretty much it ... rest of them have been mediocre at BEST. Truth is we're down 2-1 and we've still got one more at Anaheim ... seems like we're the underdogs now not only we've got to beat the Ducks but also the reffing. I am a Wings fan for life ... but NHL is the worst organized sport in the world and has the worst reffing I've seen in any sport. I'll always be a Wings fan ... but NHL fan ... probably not for long.

It's a piss off ... here's the only thing I'm thinking about: Ducks suck they could beat us 4-1 and I wouldn't care cause yesterday proved me that it's not ducks vs wings it's the anaheim nhl reffing ducks vs the wings.

I do understand the rule but it's stupid because it's what happens in the game. Now if the goalie had it and the ref was about to whistle and was late after the opposing player took extra wacks and scored and the whistle went off then I'd understand the situation but not in this scenario. Goals like this should be reviewed by the NHL they just stole a game from us could lead to an elimination.

I'm starting to feel the same way dude ... This just might be the last year I'll be watching NHL or should I say NBL = National Bettman league.

Wings stepped up last 30 mins and tied the game ... now the refs screwed us it's a diff. story. Datsyuk had a great game. Wait until Rafalski comes back.
