I'd like to add Montreal is a disappointment overall this year from hockey to players life's etc.... Finishing from first last year to eight place and barely getting in the playoffs. On top of that the way their playing there lucky to be in the playoffs.

I was looking at the stats and I realized wings had 3 defensman with 50 pts >. Pretty impressive no? Lidstrom ---> 58 pts. +33 Rafalski ---> 57 pts. +20 Kronwall ---> 50 pts. +4 Kronwall caught me by shock ... looks like his flying under the radar. If he steps up a bit more on his defensive play maybe next couple season he could become an elite defensmen and probably future 1st defensive line d-man? What you guys say it's pretty impressive no? He does have the potential.

Assuming you are going to build a team from zero. Who would be the players you would pick so you could start off your team with. Name two players, one of them needs to be from the red wings team this year and the other player could be any player in any era and explain why? Also pick a coach that you would hire except Bowman. I'd pick Steve Yzerman as my first choice due to the great leadership that he has and also the offensive and defensive touch. From the Wings this year I'd have to go with Lidstrom no doubt, also a great leader and both of them are great franchise players. As for coach I haven't decided yet so I'll post it up later .

There probably giving him a chance to get his groove back until the playoffs start, everyone knows Conks needs to be starting in nets. Coming playoffs we need to go with Conklin. Osgood hasn't even proved to me that he could steal a game he hasn't gained his play of last year (can't even remember 1 game that ozzie stole the game). I don't even want to try to see if he could win in the playoffs because I don't want to waste a game.

Tired of these Osgood defenders, I love ozzie to but I rather win a cup instead of giving ozzie a chance to prove himself in the last couple of games when his all ready screwed up 99% of games. God damn why blame defense? ...
