Who's the next big thing *goalie* after howard ... the swedish netminder? I haven't heard so much about him ... but all i know is after those two we have no1 so what would happen if ... let's say one of those two don't pan out ... or both of em don't pan out ... we would have no backup plan ... anyways why draft fwd/def when we could get stars in the 2nd 3rd etc... It's a smart future move ... considering howard or other prospects don't turn out to be good then we could have a backup plan ... considering none of our young goalies still haven't been tested... and if they do turn out to be good ... we could use him in a trade or anything

Ya but just imagine having someone like shanny or even bertuzzi ... then other team wouldn't have a choice to make a laraque or mccarthy play ... meaning one less important player on their team ... considering this guy could play the game real good tho

My point would be that there would actually be a player on the roster that could both play and drop the gloves *shanny

At least he drops it lol unlike 3.99/4 of our roster, and he could play the game too, but knowing holland he would pick some1 thats not close to nhl due to his perfect roster ... so i don't expect any of this guys to be a pick he would pick someone thats not close to nhl so they can groom him into to their system slowly

Btw the people that said that some ppl on the forum were dying to get these 2 signed so they can return with us ... well you are right ... i wanted really badly to re-sign these two. Let me explain when schneider left to the Ducks, while I'm at it let me define who the Ducks are for the fans that still haven't realised yet (Just for the record, Rafalski > Schneider (much better) and thk god we signed him) Anaheim Ducks = Nhl Team = Official Rivals of the Detroit Red Wings (Since 03 - Present) two times this club screwed our chances for a legimate chance to win the cup, they embarrassed us after a cup win. Basiclly this team is probably the team hated by most wings fans. Who do 99.99% of the fans hate on this forum = Chris Pronger ... we use to hate him when he was with st. louis and we still hate him. So what happens when two of the players that you actually like decide to turn their back on you for a bit more $$$ to leave to your rival team + hope to win the cup with them ... So that is why i officialy don't like bert or schneids as of that day, their not on the wings ... they are the ennemie, as long as their not on the red wings they are AGAINST US meaning their just 1 of the other member of the other teams wich our on the way between the cup and us ...
