Dont get me wrong i dont like samy ... but he is a big body ... I would much rather trade hudler for ryder to get bigger ... but all depending if hudler could be used to acquire another player that's more talented

dont get me wrong my favorite goalie all time is hasek ... but sometimes you just have to see the truth and the truth is that hasek is not the same hasek ... he would NEVER be able to play for a team that surrenders 25 - 30 or more shots a game ... the only reason his still playing at this age is cause the team in front of him is backing him up ... he only need to make 20 saves a game ... and some shots are really dumb shots so ... ya

Well not protecting but actually by looking @ the facts ... the teams banged up ... 2-3 key players are banged up ... do i think hasek is done? I don't think so ... but i do not see him winning us the stanley cup unless he steps up like alot ... as for howard ... he will probably play good but forget about him leading the team to the cup ... mayB next year but the hell with it lets see how he does today first ... so for now our best chances are ozzie so... ya ozzie is our man for now like it or not ... and yes i do think that he could actually win the cup ...

Allright guys this is what i think is the best for us (my opinion) Trade Samuelsson and 3rd rounder straight up for ryder (both are in slumps but a change for both teams might just be the boost they need) Bring up Dmac Will at least get a bit bigger That would leave us with this offensive lineup Zetterberg Datsyuk Holmstrom Ryder Flip Cleary Maltby Draper Mccarthy (grind line back) Kopecky Franzen Downey Drake then we should trade our first round, hudler and prospect for rob blake wich would leave us with these defensive pairings: Lidstrom Rafalski Blake Kronwall Lebda / Lilja / Chelios That's one crazy top 4 defensive pairing ... We would have a great defensive minded team ... we would be getting bigger and stronger offensively and defensively ... we would be a much more all around energy team ... your thoughts guys?

I dont see a big debate concerning that hasek isnt have a bad season ... he does have 3 SO just like osgood ... his save percentage is .908 i i think its gaa is 2.12 like if you check stats dom does also have less shots and saves but their pretty damn close ... so can someone tell me why would anyone choose osgood over hasek ... i do love osgood and i do hope he plays next 2 season our starters and i really do think he can get us the cup but i still do think that overall hasek is still the better goalie no matter what circomstance ...

He had allready won 3 cups so no way i'd trade him ... its a respect thing on top of that i'd doubt he would leave he would of rather stayed here sink with the team then go to another team to just win the cup for 2 months CAPTAIN ALWAYS GOES DOWN WITH HIS SHIP

I was thinking about it ... why not get ryder ... YES his having worst season ... YES his a healthy scratch wich i would really think that its our chance to get him really cheap ... its his last year with montreal and they are trying to get rid of him from what i hear down here ... and yes i also know his not that great defensively but hey why not put him second line or pair him up with either datsyuk or zett's scoring winger ... the guy has allready put up if im not mistaking 2 or 3 ... 30 goals seasons ... anyways im sure he'd be a great addition to our roster ... we should trade samy for ryder straight up im not saying ryder > then samy (wich i would probably think he is) but hey why not try it ... thoughts guys ?

I just want to know ... why doesnt anyone and when i mean anyone i mean everyone on tsn ... sportscenter espn or any other sports station and even probably 3/4 nhl fans talk about CORY STILLMAN this guy is no sidney crosby but his pretty darn good he has 50-80 pts every season .... so why isnt this guy never on spotlight ... is it me or i have a feeling its like they decide who to make popular and who to not make popular ... i dont about you ... but production wise id consider stillman similliar to holmstrom - datsyuk ... pts wise im talkin about not play style ... Yes your right stats probably dont mean nothing ... but his not that bad defensively ... He played for the tampa ... won the cup ... next year he played with hurricanes ... won the cup and the year that he won with the canes ... he had 26 pts in 25 games ... wouldnt you want him on the wings roster 2nd line?
