Dats struggled against Getzlaf not in the play-offs... However, if you were there in attendance for game two then you must know better... Just read through some topics here dated back to 2008. We were ******* afraid of him. Then, you'll see why Getz with flue is better than Zetter+Dats without.

Wow! Seems like you didn't watch that series. The only reason Wings won is because we had 3 lines producing and it neglected outstanding performance of the first Duck line. Cleary and Helm won that series for us. Our first line with Dats was outplayed BADLY... and yes I hate that.

Good comparison. Forsberg was much better than Sakic in his prime. Practically, he was much better than anyone in this league at that time, except for, parhaps, Jagr.

While I do respect what Pav does getting higher education for proffessional athletes in Russia is just a formality. They are just enrolled in a certain university and after 5 years issued a certificate. They don't learn a thing there, don't attend exams, etc. Good news is that it looks like Pav expects to be with Detroit for at least 5 years as most probably he wants his degree "to be ready" once he is back home. PS there is also a way to simply buy it and it is not that pricey

I made this thread two times. The previous one got no discussion at all except for "Zetter should stay" answers. Now, I see a lot of "Zetter is better", "Getz is carrying them", etc. What happended? Did you change your mind after Olympics? Are you dissapointed with Zetter performance this year? PS Personally, I would trade any player in our roster for Getslaf. I would even add if they ask. He is THAT good.

wow. He still has one of the quickiest realeases in NHL. He would be the best shooter in our team. Yes even better than Zetterberg. I'm for it.

I just tried to emphasize the most important point in a fan's life. I'm still cheering for Traktor (what a bad title for those in NA!) which developed Makarov. And still like DRW for Fedorov and Yzerman. PS Makarov was indeed a part of me turning into DRW fan. He was an epitome of quick and smart plays. That is exactly what Wings were made of in 90s. IMHO, he was better than ANY NA player ever born. But that's just IMHO.

Wow! I spent my vacation attending just TWO DRW games. A lot of money, a lot of time flying, and we lost twice in a row with me attending. What can I do? Once in a season... Still love them.
