Franzen provded that impession each and every day. I'm sure Helm will be drinder at most. Abdelkader has some chance to become mopre than that. I doubt it though
-
sorry but you are not funny anymore. I do not imply that you are wrong but following your way "I think you are are completely wrong on everything people will ever say in the fruture"... I bet 10000$ you are female. that says a lot.
-
do not you think that putting him with line 4 player would affect his offensive capabilities? I;ve seen this with Chris Draper, we are lucky this did not happen to Danny Cleary....
-
Oh, I see that's my fault. Thanks for correcting me. Like I already said many times in this thread I feel something in him. Let's hope I'm correct
-
no. It was Emmerton who was drafted two positions after Latendrese. Abdelkader was drafted one year later.
-
I really hope so. Especially, remebering Dats dropping to 179 because of his size. PS Still cheering for Cory...
-
I could be wrong about his skating. At least he is "strong on his skates" according to most reports. For some reason I thought about him as the next coming of Steve I guess I'm wrong now...
-
5.45. there is also modification for 7.62.
-
at the first glance it looks crazy but... it makes some sense at the end. The only thing is that Isles do need that 1st overall. Mainly to make some buzz around Tavares, attract more people, get some publicity, etc. So it won't happen.
-
Campbell as an ultimate judge is just a back-up option for NHL when things go wrong. This year this option was exectuted multiple times in the play-offs
-
you can add Finland's games as well. They are not the most talented team but they always fight to the end. I still remember 0-5 dissapointment in semifinals after beating Canada in quarterfinals.
-
I know one thing for sure - some of our players will be happy at the end. Some are not. It won't affect us drastically. Offtopic: Although I'm Russian I think Sweden will take the gold. I also like Canada's chances. You simply can't be worng with Steve and Mike.
-
I'll miss him, for sure. I hate when players leave the Red Wings. I hate this f..... salary cup!
-
Very nice gesture from Sharp. And for those saying it is too late to apologize. It is never late to understand that you did something wrong. Another example still is in the air - Crosby not congratulating few of our guys and not admitting he did wrong. These things come with age...
-
I found it at one of the russian's hockey sites. link states (in russian only) his teammates made this photo. Is it fake?
-
the reason I posted it is that I think sleeping with the Cup is "a little bit too much". I know the Cup is the ultimate goal in palyers' life, winning it is that complicated... still do not get it.
-
I like these guys you mentioned. Especially Fiddler.
-
how in hell you make so many mistakes in players names? Just curious. back to the topic. None of these players, expect for, Antropov and Palsson are good choices for the Red Wings.
-
completely agree. That team did not even play their best hockey and still won easily.
-
so why are you asking then? you want us to state that 92 Pens are better? While this is probably true you'll never hear this after such kind of post.

These rankings are pretty lopsided. There are only few NA players who have enough skill to be in top-30. Duchene, Ellis... The rest is questionable grit. The only real gritty NA player there is Kassian. Thanks to this we still have top-10 talent in between 30th and 40th slots. Tatar or Rajala for Wings. the following guys have all the potential to be real stars in NHL Duchene Hedman Ekman-Larsson Leblanc Tavares Tatar Rajala Svensson-Paajarvi perhaps few others bot NOT Kane, Schenn, Cowen, Kadri, etc. The rest just does not have enough skill and looks like Shawn Mastthias who was traded out of Wings for a reason.
-
Rejecting offers is a part of negotiation process. It is not like we have a GM stating something like "you accept this or you're out". We are different than the rest of NHL and this is the reason we are always successful.
-
that was only a matter of time.
-
I really like thisd roster. Excellent balance of skill, size, and team work. Replace Malkin with Getzlaf and this team will be simply unstoppable.
-
I would be glad if we can take him in round 2 or 3. I was really impressed when he literally skated circles around Canada's defense at U18. Not many players can do that... I just have a kind of feeling that we can't do wrong drafting him. I see Zetterberg potential in him at best. Of course, he needs a lot of time to develop...
