He reminds me Cleary in his early days with Red Wings. Cleary has developed since then and turned into excellent 3rd liner (better than 95% of third-liners in NHL). I see exactly the same in Helm. Really hope he will get his payday (just like Cleary) some time in the future. Right now he is special player every team wants to have.

Did not think explanation was needed. Each and every period this post season we started like this is a regular season game. We do not start things we just respond to other teams. Very frequently it is too late to be successfull, however, our incredible depth ans skill at center (read Dats and Zetter) allowed us to win this way. Now with Dats done we have Zetterberg and that's all. The rest of centers are more or less role players. And this is exactly what bothers me now. Do not get me wrong I'm a huge Wings fan but taking all these things altogether (Dats' injury, officiating, and hungry Chicago team) I do not see us closing this series in 5 games. 6-7 games would kill any chances in SCF...

i heard Dats is done for this series. Do not ask me where I get it but I believe to that guy. With the way we play every game in this post season I do not like our chances now.

I watched him closely in KHL and during some international tournaments team Russia was involved into. I would say he could be the guy we are looking for. Of course, he is not top 6 player but he can easily play 3rd line minutes, provide huge net presence and is always ready to drop the gloves. He is also not known for bad penalties. I would easily send 2nd or better 3rd round pick in exchange for Artuknin. Edit: he reminds me Lucic. Big, tough, more or less good hands. He should be coached properly to get max return though...

I also found the following very upsetting from here really no contest? Give me a break! that series was all about Fleury against Varlamov and Fleury won it easily. Plus 72 to 42 penalty minutes in favor of Pens. Two times more!!! Where are all these penalties in Anaheim - Detroit series? NHL is a f@#$ joke!

Game 7 was officiated very well. No question about that. However, hockey people tend to have short memory. Game 3. Caps are up 2-0 in that series and in the game like that with a lot of obstruction and interference from both sides they give 7 PPs to Pens and only two to Caps. And even after that the game was 2:2 at the end... If that series went to 3-0 I do not think Pens would have a lot of chance to comeback.
