I noticed that too. That's why I'm saying Zeta gets close to zero support from his linemates. I know that scoring is not an issue this season. But our second line is supposed to score goals anyway. Otherwise, we are not going deep into the play-offs. Past two-three games they did not even create scoring chances, just floating around. Complete lack of chemistry as it looks to me. Soon it may turn to complete lack of motivation. Meanwhile, Zeta is the only one who still has some on that line now. My solution. Send Samuelsson to the third line, reunite ZDH line, let Fil center Franzen and Hossa. Why not to try at least something? We cannot continue as it is right now.

Zetterberg looks completely lost out there... Like someone suggested he needs a puck carrier on his like. Right now he is getting no help from his linemates. At least, we need to try to demote Samuelsson to the third line. What is about Leino?

Actually I did not like what Filppula did on that goal. He seems to always pass and that particular pass to Kopecky was not that good. There was a guy closing on him already. I would give Kopecky credit for that goal...

very good first period. Like always we play better than our oppenents. This night we are MUCH better, two days ago we were "just better" than the Bruins. I just do not know why the scoreboard says otherwise...

There are four things I care about right now. - Zetterberg looks completely lost. I guess this is because of players he is out with. While majority here would have to disagree with me I think Zetter needs better support on his line while Dats does not. I would suggest to put Hossa on his line. Just to have somebody to pass to. - Filppula is lost too. Every time he enters the offensive zone he stops and waits for support. This is completely different compared to what he did last April - drive to the net, shot, etc. However, it is too early to give up on him for sure. I'm aware of mentality finnish players have. They are so hardworking so I predict this problem to be solved soon. The only thing he need is a proper guiding from our coaches. Perhaps put him on the first line with Dats. The only thing in this case is that we do not have a creative center for third line... We may try to use Hudler of course. - Teams playing against as like it is play-offs already. They are not even shy to say that Detroit is like a kind of measure - are we really that good? We are having a season of play-offs... It was the same in 98 if I remember properly. - Defense if fine. These are forward who do not play the way they used to. My ideal lineup for now would be: Filppula - Dats - Franzen Holmstrom - Zetter - Hossa Sammy - Hudler- Cleary Maltby - Draper - Kopecky Lids - Raf Krowall - Stuard Lilja - Ledda Conklin PS And, please, Cheli recover a little bit faster!

No. Detroit always play half-assed through regular seasons. At least last 20 seasons. It is our skill which allows us to make play-offs every single year. I know Bruins stats. Moreover, I closely follow them and watched at least 10 games this season. The DO play their best hockey today. Today's level of intensity can only be compared to their game against Monthreal last week.

I'm getting tired of all those teams playing against like it is play-offs already. Hey, we're only 20 games into the season. Save energy for what actually matters. And to be honest, I have no concerns at all. If it is win or die for Bruins, let them win we are going to have more important game later in April.

The play-offs are officiated diffrently. What is more, at the moment, we do not know how... So practically nothing can be said about our performance in the play-offs.

To be honest, I'm getting tired of Lilja bashing. C'mon he is third pairing def so what you are expecting for? Our problem this season is Lidstrom aging... Still I'm sure he'll pick up his game later on and we'll be fine. The only bad thing is that we do not have guys to replace him and especially his influence on the team. PS Nevetheless, I think that Lebda must go and Ericsson should be called up.
