Well if that could only help them they'd try it. But I think they are okay since they sign their players to contracts that extend in the players' 50's. That always helps the cap hit.

No, actually all they were doing was just posting just to post. Every post you put on the board counted as a post, unless it was in the Water Cooler. So people would jump into the GDT Threads and post stupid stuff like, "oh!!" or whatever, just posts to pad their count. You could of course see what they were doing as they would CONTINUE to do it AGAIN AND AGAIN!! When the same person posts 50 strait posts of absolutely nothing of importance people tend to notice and it's either they are a Troll or they are trying to pad their posts. It was like a competition to some back then (who had the most posts wins!!).

Oh please, now you're just making excuses. Z had a ton of opportunity playing w/ Dats and Homer this year. Hell he's played w/ everyone on this team, Bert, Dats, Homer, Clearly, Williams, Miller, need I go on??? Dats was w/ Bert for a ton of time, and they actually worked out pretty well together. But then when Bert gets paired w/ Z you guys say that Z is pulling the weight of an old man that can't produce anymore. Then Z gets first line minutes for some games and what happens? Well Datsyuk is back as the #1 center as he should be. Sorry, I love Z as much as the next guy but in comparison to his past performances or campaigns, he kinda sucks this year. Datsyuk has sucked at times, but not all season and he's actually picked it up when it means the most. Something Zetterberg is expected to do as well. I have more of a problem w/ Z's season this year than that of Lidstrom's. Most of you should agree w/ that.

Yeah, in theory that sounds great but I really don't think there is that much functionality available (though Matt could chime in and prove me totally wrong on this! lol). Matt can probably control it even more than it is now (he's even stated that he's taking the number of votes someone can use based on their membership, i.e. Booster, newbie) but there is probably only so much he can or wants to do with it. Probably like the Post Count being displayed as it was back years ago, if it becomes too much of a problem (people used to pad their post count and it became very annoying) then he will remedy the situation.

It's an ATTEMPT TO INJURE and their should have been a penalty and a suspension and to listen to Colin Campbell talk today after the meetings saying that they had to be consistent just makes me sick. There was an intent to injure and it's not the first time for this player. Colin Campbell is a wuss for this. Just like the Pronger hit years ago. The NHL can really be a joke, can't it?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. And Stuckey had a major dizzy spell during a game in November and had to be helped to the lockerroom and missed the next two games. So it sounds like there might be something there that they hadn't caught earlier.

By complete idiots who SHOULD NOT BE COVERING THE NHL!! Slava Kozlov = 3+Million Contract which means we'd be sending ATLANTA a player w/ a Cap Hit similiar like, Flip, Kronwall, Franzen, etc. I can totally see it now............Franzen for Kozlov strait up!!! Or how about Kronwall and Lebda, and some picks, or how about Flip plus Meech and some picks???? The people that write for the papers and their editors that allow this trash should all be fired. There is no way that the Red Wings can take on a Contract like Kozlov's this year. We'd have to send dollar for dollar the other way (Franzen, Kronwall, Flip, etc) and as Holland has said for MONTHS now, it's not going to happen. Why do these writers still have a job???
