Shane Doan, Phoenix – The power forward's agent has called the Red Wings several times the past couple of days, seeking an offer, and with Parise off the market, Detroit will make a pitch for Doan. However, Doan has stated he won't decide until Monday if he will leave Phoenix, where he has played since 1996. His main concern is whether the team will relocate in 2013-14 due to the unstable ownership situation.

cleary hopefully goes real soon. the others i don't mind. frazen is a ppg playoff player. bert is a bit of a wuss for his size that annoys me so much. and he's slow. hudler has a great snap shot. i wish he'd play like hull and just sneak around and wait for the pass for the quick one timer or snap shot to the roof of the net.

yea holland said he did it so commie had an opportunity to play out this year in hopes of earning a contract for next year. hard to expect a contract when you play less than 20 games the previous year all as healthy scratches. he'll get to play out this year, even if it is w/ a last place team.....at least he can display his abilities to the other 28 teams.

franzen gets hot in the playoffs like he did in '08 watch out. anything can happen in the playoffs. franzen is pretty much a ppg player in the playoffs, the 3rd line is great, flip is better. z may just get real hot at the right time. and don't forget how far kronwall has come as well as howard. howard alone could swing a series our way. especially against the nucks. he doesn't like the nucks. and who is sj's goalie again? and then there is that choker in vancouver....roberto. so yeah. this could be a special year. you guys just have to have faith.

He won't leave Tampa for Detroit. He'd have to get fired and not have a job for this to happen IMO. I'm thinking 10+ years from now, if ever. Toronto may be his next gig.
