I am fully convinced that 80% of the posts in this thread were made by people who only read the title and click, 'Reply'.

Like others have already said, I honestly think we're seeing a team still trying to find its on-ice chemistry. With such a large amount of turnover from last year we had an uphill battle on our hands to begin with. Couple that with all the injuries and a lot of these linemates might be as comfortable as they would've been in October.
-
I was hoping to see him, imagining that if we would've actually maintained a tie in the shootout that he would've been up.
-
No one wants Williams as a rental. I was reading NHL.com's article after last night's game and in it, they quoted Kenny as saying that our trade deadline acquisitions will be Franzen and Lilja. I don't think we'll be looking to make any real moves, so the waiving/dumping off of Lebda, May, and perhaps Meech is a lot more likely.

Because we're so accustomed to life without him.

It goes without saying that this team desperately needs the Olympic Break. I hate to agree with the idiots (on Versus) from last night, but the return of their injured players alone isn't going to right this ship. Everyone is so worn down from having to play that much harder through all the injuries that the best thing we could have is a 2-week break. Even if a number of guys are going to be playing in the Olympics. Call me hopelessly optimistic, but I honestly think we have a solid chance to string together some big wins after the break.

Sorry, I was talking about Damon.
-
Damon's still putting up fairly solid numbers for a guy in his role at his age. I think part of the worry is that everyone is expecting a decline. edited for clarification.

Quoted for truthiness.

Can we commit to letting this be the lone Johan Franzen thread? I have a feeling it's going to get out of hand. As someone else said, he will both impress and depress. Everyone will be happier than s*** that he's back, but once that wears off - lofty expectations will get the best of a large number of LGWers.
-
Haha, I'm sure they would. As far as I know, the Yankees are the only team that imposes a grooming policy.
-
Yeah, convenient timing. That's fine, though. The guy's dumber than a rock, but real baseball smart. Bring him on board!

Uni Watch is one of the best sites on the internet.

Not exactly. It was during the last White Sox series. Still sucked, though. As was already stated, this was clearly on an off-night (late Thursday). They had practice the next day, not a game.

Sort of like, 'Who's Your Tiger?' Kronwall.

While wearing all his Ducks gear. Per TSN

Which NIN song best describes the Wings right now?

Not even the Hurricanes are doing badly enough to be compared to Nine Inch Nails. -

BRING BACK LAPOINTE! Honestly, though, how did that guy earn so much money over the course of his career?
-
They're looking real scary right now, but I still can't envision them getting over the hump and into the Finals. I think the Eastern Finals is as far as they're going to make it.
-
It looks like nothing more than drunken rough housing. You can even hear Cleary laughing at the end of the video. I think it's great to see some of our guys out and about together.
-
I've always thought of Perry, Getzlaf, Ryan, and most every other Duck as arrogant dbags. Maybe it's just their super intimidating black, orange and gold uniforms. I personally wouldn't want either one of them on our team. Ever.

I feel like that entire post was an excuse to cleverly sprinkle links throughout.

Shattered his visor? Effin' a, Cotton.
