Yeah, the last game I went to - a couple of weeks back - he started. It was actually my only experience seeing him start and he let in 3 goals in the 1st. Obviously, you can't blame him entirely, but 2 were weeeaaaakk.

I won't deny that. I don't actively follow the Grifs, I just go to the games, haha. Neither one of them has been overly impressive in the games I attended and, for that matter, none of them have blown me away. It was merely a singular statement of fact.

Haha, I guess you are a real stickler. I know exactly what you're talking about with the Starter jerseys. I have a Shanahan one that, looking back, I can't believe I bought. When it comes to minor details like cm-sized spacing and letter thickness, I probably wouldn't notice a difference. I should clarify, too, that I was speaking of actual jersey material. The jerseys in The Zone were blank.

I will totally admit that the lettering on the Zets I picked up from DHGate is off, but I paid $41 for it shipped and I'll deal with it. Even the lettering on the jerseys from NHL.com is incorrect. I plan on buying a Winter Classic from DHGate for that exact reason. I had a Winter Classic from another site for a short time. The Winged Wheel was upside down on the shoulders, and even with that the lettering matched the real deal just fine, so I'm positive that a jersey where everything is correctly sewn and true to size will be nearly identical. Additionally, I was just in the Griffins' Zone (Pro Shop) checking out the Wings' authentic jerseys (I can never remember the difference between Edge and Premier) and my DHGate jersey's materials are the same. There are a number of frustrating issues when it comes to buying cheap Wings' jerseys, though. I'm a real stickler and things like lettering and captaincy placement definitely get to me more than I think it might other people, but I'm happy as can be with my knock-off.

That would make sense. It also makes sense that Bruins and Pens lettering would be more expensive since they're 3 color.

I hate people like this. I can only imagine how frustrating that probably was. I was lucky enough to land some suite seats for a Griffins game last month and some of the people sharing it were seemingly only there to drink beer. Swearing at each other, shouting for no reason and dropping all sorts of expletives while 3 little boys sat in the seats in front. Obviously, your experience was much worse - but I agree with you.. What is the point of attending the game if you're going to be so wrecked you don't even have the slightest as to what happened or why you're there? You can get hammered and make an ass out of yourself anywhere, I never understood why people have to ruin everyone else's night to have a decent time.

Hanging out with each other shirtless and/or pantsless? I somehow doubt it. Don't get me wrong, they very well could be pulling strange on the regular, but I don't quite imagine photos of them like this surfacing.

I know that you can argue frustration and being passionate about wanting this team to win, but for as infuriating as last night's loss was - I still wouldn't throw around some of the terms that I read on here last night. To each their own, though, everyone reacts differently. I just wish we could hold a lead. We're never going to maintain a playoff spot be earning 1 point every night.

Yeah, it's crazy to see this team be seemingly unable to hold onto a lead. After they went up by 2 I almost turned the game off (I was watching that mediocre stream) and went about my business - foolishly thinking that they'd be able to hold it. Obviously, we saw how that ended. As always, the issue is our cap space. Everyone's favorite answer is to trade Lebda or Leino but that's like forcing through a trade you know won't go through in a video game.

Well call up Larsson to let in tons of soft ones.

... Oh to be young (except Madden) and dumb. Looks like a fairly trashy affair. Is it wrong that it makes me happy that Hossa isn't in these? I can't help it, I still love the guy.

Whenever I see the puck go in behind the net, it makes me nervous. While Jimmy is undoubtedly making huge saves, he is definitely losing the puck on the regular in these situations. I didn't see all of Ozzie's last game, but I do know that he let in a softy or two - so it's a toss up, I guess. Obviously, we all want to see the #30 that played in last year's playoffs.

I will definitely keep you posted with as much as I find out. I think I got the text because the Saginaw store is my 'home' store. It's the best guess I can muster.

I just got a text message from Verizon informing me that Chris Chelios will be doing a meet and greet at the Saginaw location (5775 State St.) from 1-2 on Sunday, February 7th. I don't have details as to whether or not it will be a signing, though.

On a personal level, I would love to see that. For the team, though, the sooner the better.
