He'll be optioned to AAA Toledo.

I feel like all of the supporters in this thread are bloggers from the website OP linked. Foolishly, I clicked thinking I'd see an in-depth list of players who've received little-to-no ice time at the NHL level. Imagine my surprise.

If you didn't check out Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids, you should have. An old monastery converted to a brewery that brews in the classic German style. edit: The oatmeal stout is far and away the best beer Founder's has, in my opinion. It sucks that it's nitrogen infused because I can't get growlers of it. Luckily, Vivant fills other brewery's growlers.

Guillen offered punch when he first came back, but I see he's like 1-for-this-month. Unacceptable, obviously. It's beyond safe to say that Magglio and Carlito will be gone next season. The Tigers are deep enough at the outfield corners that it shouldn't be an issue to let Magglio simply walk. Obviously, Carlos will have to be replaced - and I'm excited to see who the Tigers pursue in the off-season.

Those were the two most annoying anchors I've ever heard.
-
You honestly expect Carcillo to be a "problem"? He's a goon, not an impact player.
-
I meant on the ice.
-
Because they lost their resident ******* to Atlanta Winnipeg?
-
Both of the aforementioned Lions' QBs also had a much smaller sample size than the other names you've mentioned.
-
I didn't know Carcillo was a defenseman. If you watch the press conference, he's baited into the question - but that's irrelevant. Dan Carcillo is doing exactly what Dan Carcillo gets paid to do. I don't like the guy, but it's a part of his style.

Just because they're all Native American logos doesn't mean they're all the same. That's like saying every logo with an animal represented in it is similar. I actually like the Blackhawks' logo. Out of all of the Native American-based logos it's really the only one that celebrates the Native American warrior without being overdone (Redskins) or horrendously offensive (Indians). I don't get worked up as some Native Americans about it, but I respect my heritage and do take offense to some of the stereotypes that are portrayed by sports teams (FSU). I agree that the Wings and Blackhawks have two of the best logos and uniform sets in all of sports. The Tigers Old English D and home whites definitely top the 'Hawks, though, among others.

The Lions have signed free agent RBs Mike Bell and Jerome Harrison. Per Adam Schefter

The Tigers have announced the extensions of the contracts of Dave Dombrowski (through 2015) and Jim Leyland (through 2012). Not at all surprised by the extension for Dombrowski, I didn't imagine he'd be going anywhere. Would've preferred to wait on Leyland until the off-season, though. tigers.com

I know they don't want to rush Turner, but you might be right. Penny could at least use a skipped start - that's for sure.
-
Penny on the mound against Ogando going for the sweep. Hopefully the Tigers can get to Ogando and give Penny 80 runs, otherwise I'm not very hopeful. Especially after what happened last time Penny and Martinez made up the battery. I will boo Penny from my desk if he comes at VMart again.

I like that idea. Fister looked strong, even if our defense kind of sucked behind him. How's about that Ryan Raburn? Proving that his bat can be effective if he isn't expected to swing it every day, I guess. I can't believe I'm rooting for the Yankees and the Red Sox, but I am. Nice to see the Indians and White Sox take crushing losses last night. Hopefully they keep doing that.

Banners aren't the only way in which a team can honor its former players.
-
They can't walk. That's what he's getting from them.
-
Just the menu screen alone should net us Suter, Weber, and a player to be named later.
-
Good interview. I knew Datsyuk was intelligent and quick-witted, but it's nice to see it in writing.
-
There was no way this deal wasn't getting done. The 'Core' jokes aside, he is a key piece to their team.

Yeah. It sucks that it came down to a Boesch homer the way it did, but it's a great win in terms of them battling back - especially against a quality opponent like Texas. I keep watching the replay of Boesch's homer. Awesome sight.
-
Yeah, I'd always tune in when they offered the free pass and never had a problem on DirecTV.

Haha, Alex said after the game that he knew he'd be getting thrown at. Sometimes that's the price you pay, I guess.
