That was something that they were mulling over within the processes of deciding whether or not to become the Jets. It's somewhat difficult because the Coyotes have done their Ring of Honor thing for former Jets. It'll be interesting to see, since it isn't the same franchise - just the same name. I have the feeling that they'll do without the Jets history and maybe retire the number of some former Jets for the fans, if nothing else.

It was discussed briefly in the Cap thread, with Detroit #1 Fan suggesting he'll go to Montreal. Could very well happen. Seems a far cry from Talbot on 24/7 talking about how much he loves Pittsburgh and wants to be there.

Good idea for the thread. We should make a similar one for trades as well. Good for Tampa to look Brewer up, he's a stud. This team is such a bright future.

I know next to nothing about basketball. I know that the Pistons are a minor-league organization at this point - but did they have a strong draft? Is this owner actually going to help them? I saw him dancing like an ******* at a game and that's all I know.

Just saw this. Really the only right move to make. Now they'll probably give them dumbass 'updated' jerseys so Winnipegers (Winnipegians? Winnipegites?) have to buy all new sweaters.

I hate Max Talbot, but this would be a big depth loss for the Pens. Maybe we can sign him and make him clean the locker room or something.

I've had good luck with Stubhub and with Ticketmaster. I recommend comparing prices before you buy, though. I had a buddy way overpay on Stubhub not that long ago.

Sure it could. I know Kenny and Co. have high hopes and I would never pretend to know more than they do. He had a strong season in Grand Rapids last year, made the AHL All Star team but couldn't attend because of injury - I know he's not a scrub. Seeing him the 10 or so times I did, though, it seemed pretty apparent that he had a long way to go to make the team. He needs to be more defensively responsible. I'm not the only person who has said this.

Because he put up better numbers in the AHL than Kindl did as a Red Wing? He's got more talent, but he's not ready for the NHL yet. He'll need a monster camp to make the 23-man.

I was just being an ass. I wouldn't call him undeserving. He might be a ******, but he was arguably the most valuable player to his team in the whole league.

.. Whoa. Just stating my opinion. If it's your 'dream roster' then why be so upset when logic gets in the way? I'd rather the Wings not trade away 2 young players with potential for what is essentially 1 guy. Kindl needs more time to develop and, personally, I don't want Filpulla going anywhere. Call me a realist, but I'll be happy with Wiz, Laich and the possibility of Bieksa. I do like the idea of Boucher as the back-up. Seems feasible, too, given Philly's #2 will be Brobovsky.

There's no way Smith makes the team over Kindl. I also have 0 expectation that the Wings make a play for Brad Richards. He's going to want a big pay day and to be somewhere for awhile. Whoever takes him on will probably be handcuffed.
