Howard is signed through 2012-13, Helm and Abdelkader won't be difficult to fit under the cap. Kronwall is the only person of that group that's going to deserve a big raise next year.

@DarrenDreger: Sources say Robyn Regehr has been asked to waive his no-move clause and accept a trade to the Buffalo Sabres. Details to follow. Others reporting that this will likely get done by tomorrow. I would imagine, with the draft fast approaching that this is the first of many moves that we'll see.

I had heard Carter. Especially with the s*** that's swirled around him for awhile now, that's not surprised. The captain is surprising, though.

I heard the rumors of Carter, but I don't think anyone could have seen this coming. Why bother picking up a stellar goaltender if you're trading your top 2 production guys to do it?
