Sounds like my kind of beer. I just finished up a 6 pack of McSorley's Black Irish Lager. Delicious! This has probably been discussed already, but I'm fairly new to this thread. Has anyone watched Beer Wars? It's essentially about the battle that smaller breweries - specifically Sam Adams and Dogfish Head, but there are others involved (like Yuengling) - are left to fight against the giants at Budweiser, Miller, and Busch. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? As long as someone is happy with their jersey and showing their pride for the Wings - then that's all that matters, isn't it? At the very least, we can all agree that a fake Red Wings jersey looks better than any other authentic jersey in the league. I browse DHGate from time to time, seems like other teams have better knock offs - but maybe it's because I never see other jerseys up close. As far as Winter Classic jerseys go, these seem to be the best knock offs I've seen. I think it's the closest I've seen a knock off get to the correct font.

Murphy is a trainwreck, Keating is a dork, Trevor Thompson is the epitome of regional broadcaster, and Mickey York has annoyed me since he was on NBC25. Redmond is the classic former player/homer and I honestly think Ken is a good announcer.

I certainly hope so. I don't know if I'm more sick of anyone in all of sports. That 6-10 record is a thing of beauty, really. Also, if anyone has a TJ Maxx near them, they're selling Lions jerseys (Stafford, Best, Johnson) for $15.

That's great! I was only able to snag 206C. I was really hoping to sit at the end where the Wings shot twice, but I'll survive. I got tickets to the Capitals game for Christmas.

The way I understand it, it's not a matter of snow or warm temperatures - the rain will result in uneven ice surfaces and thus dangerous playing conditions. Hopefully they can get the game in, having the whole thing under the lights will be cool. I'm going to watch a little and record it. I'll probably watch the whole thing when I get around to it.

Friday games count, too. I was going to pick up tickets for April 8 against the Blackhawks as a birthday present for my Dad whose never been to the Joe. Schedule dictated I go for March 11 against the Oil, though.

Yeah, the angles are steeper, so-to-speak. It's most noticeable on the number 5, I think.

My only problem with the jerseys at the Joe is that the numbers are often different than the on-ice jerseys the players wear. I thought I remembered seeing $190 at a particular stand.

I got a sampler case of Left Hand Brewing Company featuring their Black Jack Porter, 400 Pound Monkey IPA, Sawtooth Ale, and Jackman's Pale Ale. I'm not huge on IPA's, but the 400 Pound Monkey is enjoyable and isn't overtly hop-py. I'm a porter and stout guy, so Black Jack is my favorite - though far from my favorite porter. The other two ales are good, but somewhat forgettable. Can't complain about free beer, though, especially when it's quality.

Hahah, the idea of that is hilarious - even if it'd be really unprofessional on the part of the ref. Columbus Blue Jacket fans are hyper sensitive, though, so I could easily see their claims growing far beyond reality.

I almost thought he was going to make sense for a second when he said 'this is a suicide pact for..' I certainly didn't expect that sentence to end with any word other than 'Savard'. What a couple of idiots.
