You and I both know it's called the sharpshooter.

Yeah, in the scouting-edition of Wingspan they even spoke about Andersson watching Zetterberg. He was in the Swedish national team for his age bracket or whatever, but had a really poor showing. Since we rule, Andersson had already been following him for awhile and knew that it wasn't indicative of his play. Tracked him some more and the rest is history.

I feel like that's why the commercial rewinds as far back as it does. Obviously, the all do - but it just feels so poignant to wind down with Zetterberg making the outlet pass. Amazing commercial, great to see the NHL capitalizing on this marketing campaign.

Well the most obvious comparison question is, 'Why do you hate the Yankees?' - you can't help but get sick of a team who is constantly on top, especially when your team is struggling. It seems the general consensus is that we're all loudmouth ****** bags, which I've never personally experienced, but don't doubt when it comes to transplanted Red Wings fans that just want to rile up their local fanbase.

There are grades that I disagree with, but I can at least see your point on all of them. I think Bert is leaving something to be desired, and I've been really happy with the bottom 6. Not a lot of point production, per se - but they did their jobs beautifully.

Hopefully the fans stick with this team. For all the grumbling and groaning I've done about them, it was a real class move to stick around to the end of last night's domination and cheer their team for what was a great season. It's a shame that people in the desert slept on it for so long, but maybe they'll be more appreciative.

Yeah, that's never going to happen. It'd be nice to see one of his Bruins teammates actually stick up for him, and the idea of a Pens/Bruins match-up conjures up ideas of that, but that'll never happen either.

I hope this doesn't unleash a trend of renaming trophies, but great for Mr. Lindsay!

It's hard to see any goalie in the league stopping that. It's not even so much the fake of the backhand, but the turn of his body that really sells it.
-
Good for Keith, haha. I agree Nero, if you're gonna chirp be ready to catch some s***.

True. The league would just get their money back. Classless move, though. It's not Z's fault that you guys blew a 5-on-3 while our 2nd PK group was in the box. It's not Z's fault that Brad-*******-Stuart scored on a breakaway for what is, in all likelihood, the first time in his career. The Wings straight up outplayed the Coyotes for 60 minutes last night. It was like watching the late 90's/early 2000's Wings teams that would just possess the puck for an entire game while their opponent tried to play catch up.

Good for Savard. Glad to see him coming back.

I think, 'Rookie of the Year' would be a good nickname.

The guy you can't quite see in this video is Mike Vallely, he's a rogue cannon - you can't blame a fanbase for him, lol.

Criticism about Detroit from someone whose never even set foot in our state. Go f*** yourself, Phoenix.
-
An oxymoron.

This. It was basically a shove with an unfortunate result. Like I said in the other thread, the playoffs are a different beast. 2 games in the playoffs are way bigger than 2 in the regular season.
-
What the f*** was that?! Morris 'sticking up' for Stempniak by laying into someone who can't even get his balance? Real tough guy. Morris is a piece of s***.
-
It actually just makes me wonder why he catches so much s***.

Fiddler says Refs favor us, Babcock has players skate on off day

At first, I could understand the Coyotes' underdog attitude - but at this point they're just playing the victim card. -
The more of Carman's posts I read, the more I find us agreeing.

A 48 is a Medium. I will agree with this statement based on the idea that a 48 is in fact a medium. If you like the way a Large CCM fits then I'd give a Nike Medium a shot. Having said that, I love my jerseys to be a bit more fitted. I don't wear them over pads or anything and I prefer them not to be baggy. edit: You can try using the measurements found here: http://www.clicshop.com/stores/hockeygalore/Files/jerseysizingchart.htm - I've never heard of the site, though. So proceed with caution, I guess? I'm sure it could give you a ballpark idea.

If it's on the left shoulder it will look crowded and awkward. The reason for the move of the captaincy letters is because ends of the wing. Draw an imaginary line from the bottom of that C across to the other side of his chest. If it were to retain it's position it would actually be sewn on top of the wing. You're going to end up with it partially on the shoulder if you request it moved, and it'll probably just look like a knockoff. So if you want an Yzerman jersey to retain it's 'authentic' captaincy letter position you're gonna have to go with an older style.
