I feel the same way, completely. It's definitely more challenging to get out of the West, but I'm a Conference v. Conference kind of guy.

They're pretty big. I've got an Yzerman Nike XL (why I ever bought an XL, I don't know) and it's definitely even bigger than an XL. Not outrageously bigger, but I gave the jersey to my XL-wearing father and it's large on him, too. I mean, look at how big it is on Stevie. The shoulder stitching is where a t-shirt sleeve would end, haha.

You can aruge consistency, but the playoffs are a different beast. Let's remember that Claude Lemieux was only suspended 2 games for what he did to Draper.

Illitch would kill for a World Series. As a former shortstop, he loves baseball just as much, if not more, than hockey. I just wish Dombrowski could capitalize in Illitch's desires and spending.

I'd imagine you got behind the Yankees and Cowboys as a kid, though, when we all wanted to back winners. I was huge Yankees fan the season leading up to that '96 (?) World Series win - but I've just grown to hate them. Not as much as I hate the Red Sox, though. They've become a Championship-purchaser just like the Yanks, yet pretend like they aren't. But I digress. Having more than 1 favorite team really isn't - especially when they don't generally compete. As Carman said, being a Pens fan and a Wings fan was never an issue for him until recently. In addition to the Tigers, I also love the Cubs - they just happened to play an interleague series last year. My friends and I went and I wore my Cubs shirt to get a rise out of people, even though I was perfectly happy to see the Tigers take the game and the series. I personally can't really get behind another hockey team on any level other than jersey appreciation, but that's just me. There's absolutely nothing wrong with following or rooting for more than one team. edit: Formatting.

I wouldn't take the chance. In t-shirts, the difference between Youth XL and Adult SM is more in length than width. Also, I actually think it looks really awesome to see the old names / numbers on modern jerseys. The Reeboks look so much better than CCMs of old, too. The way they're cut through the body is a lot nicer looking than the blankets that were older jersey styles.

Gotta keep in mind that Smith is still recovering from his knee injury and a 1-2 attack will probably be our best bet, especially with Best likely getting more of the workload. If we can manage a respectable running game and Scheffler produces like he's expected to - then that'll open up Johnson to become the beast he's meant to be.

I'll totally agree that the Coyotes look frustrated, though I didn't see the guy-who-discovered-hockey-last-month tossing the bird. I don't know that it'll carry over to Game 6, but here's hoping. Aucoin looked like a punk at the end of the game.

Detroit isn't a very hectic town as far as traffic goes, and isn't terribly hard to navigate. I don't imagine you'll have any issues there.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Lidstrom hung up the skates, as signs sort of point to it - but I can't imagine a Wings team without him. Holmstrom could very well retire, too. If he doesn't, I imagine we're looking at something in the vein of: Franzen / Datsyuk / Holmstrom Zetterberg / Filppula / Hudler Cleary / Abdelkader / ??? Eaves / Helm / Draper Ritola Lidstrom / Rafalski Kronwall / Stuart Lilja / Ericcson Kindl And I'm all right with that. As long as we can fill those question marks in with a solid piece to the puzzle.

Or, if you want to wade through 3 pages of jerseys littered with a lot of ICP merchandise - try simply, 'jersey'. In the past few days I've stumbled across a Small CCM McCarty for $35 and a Large Datsyuk Reebok Premier for $60. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled, really. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Hockeytown Authentics sold what you're looking for.
