Fixed it for you.

That 1 looks beautiful.

I haven't seen the hit, but I can guarantee that the likelihood of Ruttu diving is through the roof. Even so, Ruttu cries wolf so often that it definitely worked against him.
-
Great hit, and clean - but still scary. Any contact with the elbow comes from Leopold pushing the puck blindly, obviously. The way he ragdolled after the hit was frightening, though.

Does that kid even have a fake 5 o'clock shadow?

I think we can agree that we'll be seeing Ritola and Kindl next year, correct? If Hudler comes back, I imagine we lose Bertuzzi and Williams and Lebda will probably be let go regardless. So I say we're looking at: Holmstrom / Datsyuk / Franzen Filppula / Zetterberg / Hudler Abdelkader / Draper / Cleary Miller / Abdelkader / Eaves Ritola Lidstrom / Rafalski Stuart / Kronwall Lilja / Ericsson Kindl Howard Osgood

Yessir. Nice and clean. I have no idea how busy it might get on the weekend, but it was quiet when I went on Opening Day. Hopefully it's a little rowdier for Game 2.

For sure, man. I also went to My Bar the other night for the Tigers game. It was empty when I went, but it's a cozy little sports bar with tons of TVs, too. It's only a couple of blocks from Peppino's. I didn't even realize that your profile says you're in Bay City. That's where I'm from, originally. Yeah, I would imagine that Mulligans is definitely going to have a band, or at least much more of a bar-on-a-Friday-night atmosphere.
-
I'm thinking about going to Peppino's downtown next week. They have drink specials during Wings games and pretty good food.

It's a hike. Traverse City is closest to Minnesota as far as neighbors go. Beautiful city, though. I went there with the lady for our anniversary in March, and even in pre-Spring it was a beautiful time. Would love to check out training camp, as I am now a huge fan of TC.

Colorado 2, San Jose 1. Every 'favored' team lost tonight. That eases me, somewhat.
-
I can't even attempt to read that.
-
Just go ahead and send it my way, I'll see to it.

Talking on the post game about how Abby could very well dress on Friday. If Shane Doan keeps running people, do we have any chance of seeing Brad May don the wheel to keep him in line?
-
Well that sucks. They really got outplayed down the stretch. Maybe this is just the sort of kick in the ass we needed to know that Phoenix is a serious opponent. I expect a lot more fire from the Wings on Friday.
-
Damn. For all the PP's we've been given we just can not make them pay for it. The worst part of all of this is how much they love Saliva.
-
If anything, having the gall (or lack of brains) to give yourself a haircut like that has to provide some sort of redemption. Like Towes' muttonchops were already mentioned - maybe it was Kane's turn to look like a human buttcrack.

The Coyotes are only trying to wear the Wings down at this point. It's like they're only playing the body and aren't even concerned about doing anything in the offensive zone. Obviously, they've been doing a lot of penalty killing, but it's pretty apparent that their goal is to wear the Wings down physically.
-
Yeah, this has been covered. Maybe you can quickly turn it into a playoff superstition thread. Last year I would not do any NHL video gaming during game days. Why? I must be crazy. Obviously, the playoff beard is always a must.

I am wearing my recently-purchased Hossa jersey. Its awkward mojo will certainly balance out whatever perceived bad mojo you're feeling.

Make a sign that looks like a tunnel.

For those of us new to the game, could you give a rundown of points? I know that points are established by certain statistics, but that's as much as I know.
-
I've been reading that the Oilers might actually take Seguin, despite lots of talk that Hall would be #1.

I guess I had pictured promo-style photos like group shots of the Swedes or them in front of the plane, etc.
