Nothing was said about whatever merits they may or may not have. The lyrics, "How long before I get in? Before it starts, before I begin? How long before you decide?" Seem to imply that they want to know how long it is that Savard will be down - if that is what they're getting at. I'm sure a bunch of idiot meatheads got a good chuckle out of that.

I thought the same thing. I want to hope it was just a coincidence. I don't wish upon anyone what happened to Moore, but Cooke definitely needs to be given a reality check. The guy has always been a s***head and has always seemingly managed to get away with it.

I had the same thoughts about the Lilja/Lebda pairing. Lilja's stay-at-home style actually worked well with Lebda's Forward-esque defensive stylings and prevented a lot of the out-of-position type giveaways that the Lebda/Ericsson pairing seemed to result in.

Both of these. Primeau is/was a s***head. Also, my aforementioned love for Paul Coffey as a youngster made me hate Primeau that much more. In my eyes, it was always Primeau's fault that Coffey went with him. We did get Shanny out of the deal, though, so we can thank Primeau for that.

This is my question, too. I saw online that there are two Greektown parking structures. One of which is attached to the Casino and is said to require validation. The other appears to be a couple of blocks from Greektown and be totally free. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I'm going to Thursday night's game and I'd like to use Greektown's free parking in conjunction with the people mover. According to Yelp! the free lot is at 660 Macomb and it's just a short walk to Greektown. Is that correct? I know there have been plenty of threads about what to do in Downtown Detroit and where to park, but the search option is leaving a bit to be desired at this point. I won't be getting there extra early or anything, so I'll be headed right to the game. I'm really excited about this, the last game I went to was Wings/Flames like 5 years ago.

I know, I appended my post after you quoted but before I realized anyone had. I wasn't clear in my post, but Newbury has yet to really show much aside from being an agitator - not really the style of play conducive with our squad (obviously).

I would imagine the trade has everything to do with this, though: Griffins' Newbury suspended indefinitely by AHL GRAND RAPIDS -- Kris Newbury's role as an agitator mostly has served both him and the Grand Rapids Griffins well this season. The American Hockey League, however, said he took things too far recently. The league has suspended Newbury indefinitely pending a review of his ejection less than 4 minutes into the Griffins' 7-3 loss to the Hamilton Bulldogs on Thursday night. per MLIVE This was months ago, I know - but I have a hard time not believing that Wings brass was less than thrilled by this. Obviously, the Rangers could care less about a player's conduct on or off the ice.

I would imagine he's marginally more effective than Kris Newbury, which isn't saying a ton. It's not like we're swapping all-stars here. I just hope he has a mustache, too.

There's really no denying his talent. I thought he actually handled himself pretty well these games, as well. He's still Crosby, but my disdain for him is subsiding. (Due largely to the fact that I'm no longer living in Pittsburgh). He'll be canonized for this, but at least he's living up to the hype so far this year.

The only thing I hear the crowd chanting, "Let's Go Wings" to is the kick drum/organ sound. I can't hear whatever song is playing after the Pens score because of the commentary.

That is an absolutely insane read. It's nice to know that he's made it through all right. Ryan was already the only Duck I could stand. Makes me pull for this kid that much more, now.
