  1. Screw the Penguins, screw Crosby!! I'm still depressed
  2. He must be injured, it's the only logical explanation after what he did last year in the playoffs and what he did in the regular season
  3. I know they outshot us badly in the first period and dominated a lot of possession, but I thought we still had the best chances to score. Let's keep the D going and take some of those chances!!
  4. It varies from day to day. It is very rare to never be called out during a shift but there are times when you only get a few and there are times when you are out constantly. The only thing is you never what is going to happen or when it will happen either!!
  5. I'm a firefighter and will be working Friday night but hopefully it wont be required!! Games start at 1am here in Britain so if it is needed hopefully nobody will decide to burn their house down that night!!
  6. Don't get a choice of NBC/CBC here in Britain, we just have to put up with whatever we get!! Has been a mix of NBC/CBC/TSN/VERSUS for the last two rounds but it is CBC for game one tonight. So much for the supposed CBC/Crosby lovefest as Don Cherry pics the Red Wings to win in 6!!!
  7. Are there tickets still available for this game? I'm gonna be over from Britain visiting family in Tampa at this time and would love to go! I already have a ticket for the Lightning game Where is Sunrise anyway? How far from Tampa?
  8. The game has been a 9.30pm start for a long time, I know because I checked ages ago and saw that it is on TV here in England at 2.30am!! And yes, I will be up watching it!! I agree with Doggy, let's get this series over with quickly!! GO WINGS!!
  9. As I live in London then every time I wear one of my Wings jersey's it's in a weird place!! I wear one quite often around town and get some quizical looks on a crowded underground train!! I wore a Wings jersey to both of the Kings/Ducks games here at the start of the season. Also wore Wings jerseys whilst at games at Torino Olympics, wore my Yzerman jersey at a Canada game and everyone assumed I was Canadian which was weird for me!! Went to visit family in Tampa earlier this season and wore my Zetterberg jersey to a Lightning game. Went to Sweden a few years ago with friend from Toronto to watch the Maple Leafs play exhibition games in Stockholm and wore my Fedorov jersey to both games.
  10. For me the issue isn't that somebody swore on Canadian TV. It's the fact that American TV and culture is so censored and watered down. Swearing, nudity and sex are regular on TV here in Britain and all across Europe. It's no big deal. Just look at all the fuss caused by the Janet Jackson 'incident' at the Super Bowl. It just highlighted how prudish American society is that an incident which was basically nothing could cause such outrage! The Janet Jackson incident made the news here but it basically held the Americans to ridicule over how pathetic it all was.
  11. They did mention it, can't remember exactly but something to do with Columbus and taking a certain number of uniforms on the road with them. Like I said I can't remember exactly what they said
  12. It's 4am here in Britain, now I can get to bed!!
  13. Where is all the booing of Pronger from the Wings fans? We did a better job in London at the weekend of booing that jerk everytime he touched the puck!!
  14. Good first period by the Wings, some solid defence and looking dangerous at the other end
