Won't matter. They don't have anything left. They're gassed. AND they're fighting the opposing Team AND the on-ice Officials. And you know what? Before ANYONE makes a comment about how "silly" it is to think that there's a bias, and that the refs are calling Games for the Pens: It has been mentioned by Mike Babcock. It has been mentioned by Wings Players. It has been mentioned by the Announcers on BOTH NBC and VS. It has been mentioned by the NATIONAL MEDIA. There IS a bias. And the Officiating IS being called to hand Games to the Pens. It's not a figment of EVERYONE'S imagination.

Well..... I'm not happy with the outcome. As has been said before, I don't think anyone thought it would be a sweep, (regardless of what we were hoping for). However, I'm not sure where many here are getting that we "outplayed" the 'guins. I didn't see that at all. What I saw was sloppy hockey. Throw-everything-at-the-net-and-pray hockey. They were TERRIBLE in turning the puck over, and over, and OVER, again and again. In all three zones. They couldn't clear their zone to save their lives. And they were beaten to puck after puck, losing all of the little battles. Shame. This was such a great opportunity. I think they may have gotten a bit complacent. You know.... Down their Hart candidate, but still up 2-0 in the Series, even after having played FAR less than their best hockey. Hopefully this serves as a wake-up call.

Oh yes you did, clutch. Yes, you most certainly did. You just didn't want to be called out for slamming a guy who's been one of the main reasons the Wings are back in the Finals in the first place., after he had a mediocre game. I hope Ozzie's much better next Game. The Wings are gonna need him.
