Been saying exactly this for years. Oz has a strong case for MVP thus far. As do Franzenstein and Cleary.

Even during the "tough" times, they find a way to laugh it off. Together. Tight knit group. There's no overstating the importance of that.

Osgood has been disrespected for years, despite everything he's accomplished. Don't even attempt to act like this is a result of his crappy 2008-2009 Regular Season. That's disingenuous. The only difference now is that they're crapping on a TWO TIME Cup Winner who happens to be Top 10 overall in NHL History. It's bush league, any way you slice it.

Bad move, I say..... Once Hiller is exposed, (as Cechmanek was....as Turek was....as Esche was.....as Aebischer was), the Ducks are screwed. Hiller's only strength is his novelty. Once that wears off..... He's just a big, awkward body with no technique and holes all over the place. Alex Auld, anyone?

Whereas the quiet guy who looks like Opie Taylor was thrown under the bus, by his own fanbase AND the local media, quicker than any outsider could possibly have come to the attack. JUST AS HE WAS THIS YEAR, during the Regular Season. It is ALL perception. Nothing more.

When Tkachuk attempts to "pfffft...we won't NEED to pack our ba.....", Quenville quickly shouts him down with a "You HEARD what I said....." The flu-riddled Blues go on to lose Game 6, 3-5, and head back to Vancouver. They lose Game 6, 3-4, and head back to St. Louis. Where they lose Game 7, 1-4. Series over. Quenville is lockerroom poison. Mr. "Hanta Yo!" has got NOTHING on "Coach Q".

I can guarantee there's not a single duckie living in Anaheim proper. Not ONE. But you're right. A million dollars, (especially after taxes, union dues, escrow payments, etc.), doesn't really go that far hereabouts. Not far at all.
