LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!
-
DAMNIT!

PICK UP THE REBOUNDS!!!!! QUIT THROWING MUFFINS AT HIM!!!!

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!
-
And of course, Hiller has stopped NOTHING! Every shot is beating him clean and going off the pipe.... NOT a good sign.
-
And there you go.... DUCKS announcers stating that the shot clock recorder is BLIND....... States that Osgood has made at least 5 or 6 saves that haven't been recorded on the scoreboard. Go figure....
-
Just like Games 1-3. Hiller is leaving rebound after rebound out there, and the Wings are getting to NONE of them. I don't understand what it is with this Team.... LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!
-
Dats looks bad.....
-
It looks like the Wings are right back to where they were in Games 1-3, and the beginning of Game 4. The Ducks are mucking up the ice, and the Wings are not willing to fight through it. Also back to taking those low percentage, weak shots on the Swiss Miss.
-
The Wings are allowing the Ducks to dictate play in this Game.... Not a good sign.
-
I get the crappy ducks announcers on FSN. (better than nothing....)
-
I hope the Wings are feeling two things. Fear and desperation. Fear of losing. Desperation to avoid it. Let's Go Red Wings!!!!!!!
-
And as for the 'Nucks sitting back and trying to hold a 1 goal lead all game, every game....??? If that's your strategy, it helps to have a goaltender who has a proven history of coming up clutch in pressure situtations..... Rather than the exact opposite.

2002 Western Conference Quarters. Vancouver Canucks 5 - Detroit Red Wings 2

I'm a fan, but that's a huge pet peeve of mine. We don't pay their salaries. Period. Our money goes to Mike Ilitch. How HE decides to spend HIS money is entirely up to him. To assume that we, as fans, have some kind of "right", or "ownership" to these Players simply because we "pay their salaries" when we buy tickets/merchandise is like stating the since we spend our hard earned money at Little Caesars, we should have some say in not only who is hired by LCP, but also in how the pizza is made, AND in what toppings Mike and Marian choose to have on their Pizza! Pizza! when they order. We're not stockholders. We're customers. We get full value for our money at the point of sale. Pay for tickets....see the show. Buy a jersey.....wear it home. Transaction complete. Our money doesn't entitle us to an interest, any more than eating dinner at Little Caesars 3 times a week makes us stockholders with a right to know what changes will be made to the menu in the coming months, let alone a SAY in those changes. It certainly doesn't entitle us to confidential medical information.

I disagree completely. If either one of them can so much as stand upright, they are IN. The Ducks know that they can't match the Wings depth to begin with. It showed in Game 4 when they were without Wisniewski. And now Getzlaf? Again.... Unless these guys are missing limbs, they'll be in the line-up. Count on it.
-
That's ridiculous. Why would you think that?

Count me as one who'd much rather the ducks stick with Hiller. I, for one, never thought he was as much a factor as everyone was giving him credit for. While he faced a ton of shots, (quantity wise), in most games you could count on one hand how many REAL quality shots he faced. In responding, over and over again, to mlive.com's Ansar Khan's numerous "the Wings must find a way to beat Hiller" articles, I think I finally annoyed Khan into responding with his "Hiller has been much more of a factor than some of you are giving him credit for....." Regardless.... The Wings finally showed up on Thursday - something the hadn't done YET in this Series, (despite the Game 1 Win). They'll have to do it from this point on....a full 60 minute, pedal to the medal, no-let-up, no mercy performance. If they don't? It won't matter WHO the ducks put in net.

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!

VERY interesting quote from Giguere, regarding the benefit of the two day break: From the OC Register "I think (Thursday night) we were a little mentally tired. We can push ourselves to the level we need to be to win a game against Babcock." Interesting to note that the Ducks player who owns the most personal success against the Wings thinks that his Teams biggest obstacle in this Series is..... Mike Babcock. Interesting, indeed.

Oh.....by the way..... Welcome Home, Boys!!! It's great to have you back!!!!
