I hope they dress Downey - just for warmup - like last season against Dallas. Let him beat Pronger/Getzlaff/Perry - anyone of those PUNKS... He was more physical in that warmup than McCarty in playoff...

First of all I would consider Walker as a impact player... but rules are rules: Flames' Roy suspended for one game Thursday, 04.23.2009 / 2:25 PM / 2009 Playoffs Conference Quarterfinals NHL.comTORONTO - Calgary Flames' forward Andre Roy has been suspended for one game and fined $2,500 (the maximum allowed under the CBA) as a result of an incident in the pregame warm-up last night when he initiated contact with Chicago Blackhawks' defenseman Aaron Johnson. Roy's suspension will be served on Saturday night when the Flames meet the Blackhawks in Game Five of the series.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26336 47.22 Fines and Suspensions – Instigator in Final Five Minutes of Regulation Time (or Anytime in Overtime) A player or goalkeeper who is deemed to be the instigator of an altercation in the final five (5) minutes of regulation time or at anytime in overtime, shall automatically be suspended for one game. The Director of Hockey Operations will review every such incident and may rescind the suspension based on a number of criteria. The criteria for the review shall include, but not limited to, the score, previous incidents, etc. The length of suspension will double for each subsequent offense. This suspension shall be served in addition to any other automatic suspensions a player may incur for an accumulation of three or more instigator penalties. When the one-game suspension is imposed, the Coach shall be fined $10,000 – a fine that will double for each subsequent incident. No team appeals will be permitted either verbally or in writing regarding the assessment of this automatic suspension. Let's see how they are going to handle this one.

http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=277623 Chris Pronger and Steve Ott are the dirtiest players in the National Hockey League, according to a survey of their fellow players. A Sports Illustrated poll of 324 players that is to appear in this week's issue has Anaheim Ducks defenceman Pronger and Dallas Stars forward Ott in a tie, each chosen by 13 per cent of their peers. Jarkko Ruutu of the Ottawa Senators was third at 12 per cent, with Sean Avery of the New York Rangers fourth at 10 per cent, followed by Scott Hartnell of the Philadelphia Flyers at five per cent. Pronger, the Hart Trophy winner as the league's most valuable player in 1999-2000, has been suspended eight times in his career. During the 2007 playoffs alone, he was banned one game for a questionable hit on Detroit's Tomas Holmstrom and got another game in the final for an elbow to the head of Ottawa's Dean McAmmond. In March, 2008, Pronger was suspended eight games for stomping on the leg of Vancouver's Ryan Kesler. Ott's most recent transgression was a one-game suspension for gouging the eye of Anaheim's Travis Moen on March 1. With 35 minor penalties in 64 games, Ott had the highest ratio of penalties among those who played at least 50 games. The pesky Ruutu was suspended two games in November for an elbow to the head of Montreal's Maxim Lapierre, then got two games in January for biting the hand of Buffalo enforcer Andrew Peters during an altercation. Avery dominated the poll last year with 24 per cent of the votes but missed much of this season when he was sent for counselling after making crude comments in Calgary about opponents dating his former girlfriends. Hartnell, a power forward who likes to crowd the net, had 143 penalty minutes this season.
