1st thing for Holland was to have a deal in place for Zetterberg... More he's waiting more Zetterberg price is going up. When you see deals that Tampa gave to Malone or Philly to Carter you can except Zetterberg going for big money ($8M). With deal in place for Zetterberg - then you can go after FA's. I don't know why he signed Lilja for 2 YEARS ($2.4M).

I'm sorry but I don't agree with you... We have only Franzen as secondary scoring - and he was on fire last 20 games of regular season... first 60 games of the season he was ICE COLD. Rolston is like Draper with more offensive skills... he can play on any team and let me say $4M for him isn't that expensive in NHL. Bertuzzi is Bertuzzi, already scored 40 goals and I think that he could be 25-30 goals scorer again... Take him for one year at $2M...

I think that Holland should go after Rolston ($4M per season for 2-3 years) and Bertuzzi ($2M for one season) or Ryder (one year deal). Sorry but: Sundin wants 2 year deal. He turned down $7M from Leafs. Montreal is giving him 2 years deal and they are ready to give more money than Toronto.

John Erskine would be my first choice right now. He can play (5th or 6th def), hit, fight, he's cheap... Trade Lebda for Erskine. McCarty isn't enforcer, he will provide physical presence, will drop the gloves, but he's old for rough stuff. Do we need somenone to protect our star players, answer is YES, remember last season when Laperiere went after Lidstrom... Downey was there. I like Downey, he isn't taking stupid penalties, will do anything for his team, comeback of the year (as fighter). Drake is gone (I hope so), I would go after Tucker to replace Drake. Keep Downey in system but you need to inquire at least about Laraque. Trade Sammy for anything... I think that we could have him for less than $4M (around $3M home discount)... He's from Flint, 6'2" great skater, can score some goals, great def. forward... I would rather have Rolston at $3M - $4M than Sundin or Hossa for $7M - $8M...

Michel should just shut his mouth - when you have best DIVER in NHL in Crosby why are you complaining about diving? This guy was "bodyguard" of Roch Voisin (see Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston)... and he's ugly (uglier than Ricci). Osgood is AMAZING - still 2 games.
