What we can give them for Guerin or Tkachuk??? NY Rangers, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Carolina, even Buffalo (Connolly is not going to be ready...) would like to have any of these players... It's easier to trade with Eastern conf. teams than with Western. I think that Holland will go after Sturm, Roberts... Ryder is on trade block - it's time to trade for him NOW... I don't think so... Can't imagine Sakic in any other jersey - same thing as Yzerman...

I wouldn't say that they were in slumps at the start of the season... They weren't playing together... Babs was mixing lines every damn shift... no chemistry at all... We don't have quality forwards to split Zetterberg & Datsyuk... Samuelsson??? Williams??? Cleary (I like this guy)??? those players aren't "top 6 forwards"...

Lilja vs Gauthier... Gauthier did the same thing as Sourray couple weeks ago (when he went after Armstrong) and Pen's got 7 min. PP + game ejection for Sourray... Gauthier the PUNK got 2 min??? Ref's are joke!!!

How many times he got crushed??? Fedoruk, Richards, Eager... We played strong physical team and that's it... I'm not sure it's Joey fault - and I'm very happy that Hasek or Osgood wasn't playing last night...

I wouldn't say that he is great defensman - I think that he's good defensmen with a lot of potential... he's not going to be offensive defensmen type Lidstrom... What about Markov???

Based on what??? How many times you saw him playing??? In NHL??? In Juniors??? probably 2-3 times... Reading your posts - he can't skate, he can't skate... not true... ans still there is POWER SKATING programme... that he took this summer... skating, something you can learn don't forget about that... He's scoring because his playing time is UP...

Well I see your point - I didn't know that you need speed to be power forward... (Tocchet wasn't speddy, Stevens wasn't speddy - even Shanahan wasn't so speddy (faster than Latendresse true)... What I tried to say is that Robitaille wasn't faster player on the ice, but he still put 600+ pucks in the net... Never said that Latendresse was supposed to be SAVIOR of the Wings - but very SOLID PICK UP for small team that we had... Latendresse isn't fronrunner for Calder - very true but you forgot to say that he started season as a 4th liner 13 games and 6 games on the 1st line with Ryder and Koivu 6pts in 6 games... Did I said that this guy is 19 years old??? 3 PP goals so far in 6 games that he's playing on the PP... Zetterberg have 1 PP goal... Latendresse ranks 3rd among Canadiens' players in hits (36)... I think he could help to Zetterberg or Datsyuk a lot more than Samuelsson... or even Abdelkader who is long shot to NHL.

As far as I know Robitaille isn't Katarina Witt but he still scored 600+ goals in this league...

When this rankings were made Latendresse was INJURED!!! How can you even use CSS rating as main reason why we didn't drafted him?
