Year after year, same thing... Small and weak team, without grit and grit makes whole difference in playoffs. Too many similar players on this roster... Too many fashion models without balls. Kenny needs to bring hockey players otherwise we are not making playoff this year. -

So we will have pretty same (small/weak) roster with rookie coach and suddenly we are better team?

My fear is that he's clearing cap space for Green. He will offer something like 36M$/6 years... And in two years he will finish like Weiss

I think that he should let Blash see what he can get from Weiss this year and make a move next if needed.

Context was different then but again, Kenny has made some really stupid moves. We should be one of the team with most buyouts since 1st lock out... That's an issue

Weiss was called Weisserman (their version of Stevie Y). He wasn't that bad but again he was a 3rd line center on a food team. I think that this is Scotty effect, since Scotty left, Kenny hasn't been that great. He's building Playoff contender team and not SC contenders. Whitney was bought out after 1st lockout, McCarty and Hatcher (if my memory serves me well)...

Since this team needs some toughness and size, I truly believe that Kenny will sign Hayley Wickenheiser... He will get his ideal power forward
