Here is what is at stake: In my mind for the wings to have a chance at #1 in the West, San Jose must lose in reg. tonight. Also, with an Anaheim win, they jump to 6, Columbus would then drop to 7. Actually i made a mistake Anaheim would stay at 7 due to games played (Anaheim at 80, Columbus at 79) but both Anaheim and Columbus would have 90 points. still... The Sharks next 4 games are going to be tough as heck, they could easily lose all 4: at Calgary, at Edmonton, vs. Anaheim and at Anaheim I'm hoping they lose at least 2 of those games in regulation.

Let's say the top 6 dman are: Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall, Stuart, Lilja (if healthy), Ericsson/Lebda/Chelios Goalies are: Osgood and Conklin What do you guys think the lines would look like?

What is the playoff roster limit for a team? Is it 23? If so, do you guys see us taking 2 extra forwards and 1 extra dman or the other way around, 2 extra dmen and 1 extra forward? This is what i think, right now: the top 12 forwards are locks: Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Hossa, Franzen, Holmstrom, Hudler, Samuelsson, Draper, Cleary, Filppula, Maltby and Kopecky. Then you have to decide what to do with Leino and Helm. On the defensive side, i see 5 locks to start: Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall, Stuart, Lebda... I would also include Lilja if healthy, but right now i would say if he isn't Ericsson would be the 6th. Then you have to decide what to do with Chelios and Meech.
