Shut up fan babies. Hudler worked his ass of here and made a business decision. Find me one player that improved over the 2 or 3 year span that he did. I for one will welcome him back at 2.x mil. Trade him later if need be.

Yup. Why is it an OK hit in the NHL to run heads? I've been watching hockey for a long time and this s*** didn't happen in the 70's and 80's because there was something called retribution if one chose to play that way. This crap is not good for the game. Hard hits are good. Head hits are bad. Unless of course you want to bring back fighting.

Flip is a consistently good player - especially in the playoffs. He's not gonna bag you bushels full of goals, but so what? That is what Z and Bert are supposed to do. p.s. Let the record show I've been a staunch Flip defender. Spot on. The shot is the only weakness in his game. Plus, he always looks like he is wearing lip gloss which I find oddly attractive.

I'm not saying bench him, just shuffle him around a bit. I'd do the same with Bert if he starts being a passenger. We need these big guys to play like big guys, period or we won't go that deep. So if I'm Babcock, I try to coach the compete level of those 2 in particular. BTW, It's not like his lackluster play just started with the playoffs.

Skilled BIG players that play on the perimeter need to be sent a message. You will get more goals out of Cleary if he crashes the net, then Franzen figure skating. Williams and Abby are a major case in point. Don't get me wrong, I have been one of Cleary's biggest critics all year, but Franzen has just about disappeared and this is supposed to be his time.

Uhh, No. The ice was s***. The puck bounced around and unless the team went and got free booze at Embassy Suites, one would have to wonder why 3 players (2 wings) that I counted fell over for no apparent reason.
