Isn't this current west coast swing the one that the fathers of the players join in? If so, I wonder if Hossa has his father there and how he feels about the idea. Might show him that we have THE CLASS organization.

I think if/when we win the Cup this year, Hossa will leave and sign a gigantic multi-year deal elsewhere. He signed a 1-year deal for a reason.

Does anyone think it might be time for a little motivation? Maybe Leino for Kopecky, Abdelakder for Filppula, Larsson for Conklin? I don't know, I have been noticing some loly-gaggin lately and I am wondering if maybe some replacements might be what the Wings need right now? Any opinions? (That was a stupid question)

I agree that we are still good enough, but it frustrates me when some of these young guys are sand-bagging it. Sitting out a game or two would show them that their place on the team is not automatic.
