I would love to see them have the highest goals for vs. goals against differential. Right now they are at +.50 pg Last year they were +.59 pg Be nice to see them get closer to 2008 at +.89 pg, despite scoring the least. Phily is currently +1.06 which is incredible.

They can demand as much as $7m and if any of them is under $5.5m it is a huge deal for Chicago. Unless they all sign for under $12m Chicago is going to have to trade away players now, because of the tag-up rule. Maybe they have found a team Campbell would waive his NMC for? Probably have to send some picks along with him. If they can not get rid of him, their bottom half is amongst the worst in the NHL.

I personally hate the shootout, but if I were in charge of hockey I would keep them -- they definitely add entertainment value and keep fans in the stands.

I am more confident because the team seems more confident... some of the snake-bitten guys are finding the back of the net (most importantly - Zetterberg) . The lines are meshing finally.

It is annoying that you can never 'count' on the Wings to beat a lowly opponent during the regular season - They really seem to play to their competition at times and I would not be surprised if their record against -.500 teams is the same, if not worse, than +.500 teams. Ok, I just looked it up - last year they won over 70% of the time against the top 10 ranked teams in the NHL. They only won 60% of the time against the bottom ranked 10 teams and 65% against middle-ranked teams. They literally play better as their competition increases.

All these guys could have 30-60 points next year, with spots open on the second power play as well as 2nd line -- who will earn those minutes and register the most points?
