Wow.. Nabokov is a Wing for a cup of coffee and it get s 13 page thread? Before he is even (or ever going to be) a Red Wing. hmm I feel cheated... Here I am going nuts on Twitter pages and things and I know in my mind that he won't be a Red Wing... so Why am I checking sites like I am crazed with this notion that Nabokov will wear a winged wheel? on the other hand....It's great drama -

he would not have to be traded to us.. He has to be put on waivers first and we can claim him out right as far as I understand he comes back to us At least thats how I understand the "Waiver" thing -

Under his deal with the NMC he would Have to be carried on a NHL roster or asked permission by "claiming Team" to put him on Waivers again..at that point the RED WINGS could claim him out right. -

That's how I see it..... Ken and Mickey were saying basically who ever gets him MUST carry him the rest of the season.... so He has to stay at the NHL level if he is claimed. Bob Mckenzie -

I can wait till Monday to hear that Nabokov was claimed by __insert team here___ I am stupified! Why the time and negotiating and hassel for nothing! it CANT be to get someone to put a goalie on waivers. I mean Leighton is worth his salary and we passed on him.... I think Kenny was sitting too close to the exhaust pipe of the Zamboni.....( I dont really Hate him.. Just question this whole process)

Who would want Kipper? 5.8 for 3 more years after this one? He's not as dominate as he once was and now he's locked in for 6 mill a year.
