I honestly think that is what is keeping me glued as possible to this thing! I have to know WHAT is he thinking? and WHY?!?!?!?!? Why WOULD he do this.. any team can offer him a deal and let him get claimed.... WHY Holland and Detroit! That is what I don't understand and am waiting Impatiently to find out.
-
I am just saying I think he's right.... Do you think he will make it here? and Be honest ! for 250,000 (pro-rated) come on! If he does...GREAT! But I am only human to have doubts.... Especially when I see all the teams that have to say .. " Hmm Nabokov......PASS!" I just don't see THAT many teams passing on him

I am on your side....

their fan base does not like hockey either..... They have a Facebook fan page.... you should read what people say about Hockey! Here's a couple...I won't post names " Hockey sucks and is a racist sport" "Deadwings" " Why do you guys always have to talk so much red wings?" "This is Football Town for real, not Hockeytown! "

OK. WHAT IF! What if this is a favor for Meehan and in return we get a discount on a FA next year? or something... Kinda like "Hey, Get my guy back in the NHL and Ill see what I can do on a deal for ________________. and If he stays with you guys you win with a great #2 goalie for the rest of the year" could this be a scenario?

I met Jimmy Carson - He was a friend of the guy who owned the store my brother was working at. (when He was a Wing) Very nice and polite I shook hands with Dino - Ultra cool... I met the Hatcher boys - Both really nice ( at least that day! ) Greg Steffan (sp) decent, When i was a kid - mid 80 ish - My buddy and I were with his sister and she took us to meet Bob Probert and Sheldon Kennedy. Both nice (to a couple kids they better of been right?) That's it for me. No one really recent or new. haven't been that fortunate yet!

Dog is Ready..... I am ready.... GO WINGS!!!!! -
This is kinda neat and I thought I would share since it mentions the Wings. Money on the board
-
I guess it would of been no big deal if the coaches salary is included in the salary cap.
-
Kinda bogus, the coach is no different than a player, in that they are hired by the club to do a job and do not directly pay the player... Would it of been a violation if Osgood handed out $400 to the guys at the end of his big game? BUT! I agree they should of kept it in the club house.

Mike Milbury - "A deaf, dumb and blind kid can see what it is." I guess he thinks it was a clean hit! Yahoo Story

Ansar Kahn VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Detroit Red Wings goaltender Chris Osgood is expected to see Dr. William Meyers in Philadelphia this week to determine if he needs surgery for his groin injury. Osgood will back-up Jimmy Howard for tonight's game in Vancouver, then return home on Sunday. The club will recall Joey MacDonald from the Grand Rapids Griffins to serve as Howard's backup for Monday's game in Colorado. Osgood has been bothered by this groin problem for the last couple of months. He missed all of November because of the injury. General manager Ken Holland said they need to do "some investigating'' about Osgood's injury and that they're leaning toward sending him to see Meyers, who has performed sports hernia surgery on, among others, Kris Draper and Tomas Holmstrom. "He's played with groin pain, it hasn't gotten better. It's gotten to be more of a concern,'' Holland said. "It's early January, it's important to get him checked out now. If he does need surgery, we'll need a period of time to get him back. "We're going to try to be proactive, take a look at it, see what's wrong.'' Story Micheal Leighton? if he misses any REAL time that is.
