Actually I think It would be fitting if ALL the players wore a 24 Probert Jersey for pre-game then put on their actual jerseys when the game starts. Those are my thoughts...not yours on whatever day it is in August..

He also wondered if former long-time Dallas Star Mike Modano might be interested in joining the Wings if they were interested in signing him, although Kulfan admits that would be a long shot. Would love to see this. I always wondered how well he would do surrounded by the guys we have. Franzen Modano and Bert?

How can we be good enough when we have the same team that got Ousted in the 2nd round? Yes we have a great team. But I think Kenny should of waited until July 1st to add a nice piece to get better. Just saying this is the same team as last year only a year older. Go Wings and PLEASE prove me wrong and I will eat the crow for sure. I guess I should hold my thoughts this time, Hopefully we stay healthy and then we would be WAY better than last years team. This is what I mean, This is off the Spectors Hockey site...... The Blackhawks aren't done dealing and are believed shopping winger Kris Versteeg...The Lightning might also be in the mix for Evgeni Nabokov's negotiating rights...the Ducks aren't sure what to do about Bobby Ryan... Bobby Ryan a RFA Offer Hudler and a Pick and give him a long term deal worth 3.5 to 4 a year. Its only 2 more than Hudler's hit against the Cap.... Am I crazy?

I think Chelios, having played more recently, has a great perception as to how the game is played today. McCrimmon is a good hockey guy but I do sometimes question his ability. Chelios behind the bench would be great.

Osgood and Lidstrom took it to Leno and Jimmy Kimmel I thought I knew I saw one where they actually did a good interview.... I Thought it was Kimmel But not 100%

Please add that those were points on a team with injury issues. I have to wonder if he will be as good if we stay healthy. Not saying he isnt worth the money.... But 1.5 should of been fine IMO.

My point is... How would the team be any different? Its the same team that got ousted by San Jose in round 2 this year. I always thought that the off-season was to "tweak" the line-up a bit to make your team better. The expectations on Hudler are high in my opinion. and the money Helm and Abby would get doesnt worry me. I heard somewhere (Radio, Internet) that Bert would want more to stay here... Just what I heard doesnt mean squat tho. I see your point on the RFA vs. UFA. at this point we need fresh faces and a little different blood. That's just how I feel tho.

Its true.... Holland is hell bent on getting all the same guys back. Does that not seem like the same team? Just wondering why he isnt waiting to get this team a fresh face ( I don't mean Hudler) he wants the same team we had last year and it did not work so well. That's all I meant. focusing on Bertuzzi 1st instead of Helm or Abdelkader? Yes Lidstrom took a lesser deal, But Bert wants a raise to play here and so will Helm and Abby... So there goes what Lids saved us. Am I right or wrong? Not ranting here, If it seems like it I am sorry. Just trying to understand things. I guess Ill just have to wait and see what our line up is when the next season starts.
