If I were Avery I would watch my back after the crap I did....If I were Avery I would be Expecting to have a stick in my chest once in a while...... I never said he needed a game suspension I already said that he should not have ...... But that doesnt mean that he should not get a meeting with the NHL brass or the Ranger Brass in his grill telling him to play hockey between the whistles......not after the whistles. Avery isnt the only cheap shot artist this year, in these playoffs. what he did was stupid, meaning less and had no bearing on the game...it was out of reach, his team was getting owned. It wasnt 3-2 or 3-3. It was 3-0 and wasnt looking to get any better. taking a penalty gets his team pumped up? thats a spark? well that's not exactly what I would call a uplifting team mate. Thank God he's a Ranger. Do you think for One minute that the Wings (or Babcock) would put up with that crap from him if he were still here????

When Avery is captain of a team and has his number is in rafters and has the respect of fans all over the sports world.....I guess he will be able to get away with anything he wants.....
