I don't think we are going to make a big splash. We prob are going to look to add an additional top six foward for the right price and perhaps another depth foward. Our farm system/a new contract for Zetter on the horizon will keep us conservative. I hope we add Fabin and Rolston for next year.

Uhhhh yes and no..... I have long since been a proponent of Franzen, but I really didn't think he would ever get time. I thought for sure Cleary Zetter Pavel Hudler Filpulla and Sammy would get all the time. I knew if he got the chance he could do this, he has the potential to be far greater then Homer over a career. Now if Babs will wake up and keep him on the second line!!! Instead of bumping him!

It makes more sense to bring him over if Howard comes up though.... I am not sure about that.

Let's hope he is the next Henrik.... I wouldn't at mind being one of those teams that disguards a very good goaltender because we already have one and being able to pick up a little extra. E.G. Sharks turfing Toskla Howard and Larsson FTW!

Yeah the Canucks don't scare me at all. I say bring them on. I still am sore at their fans for pushing through that online voting saying they have the best logo in the league. THEY HAVE ONE OF THE WORST!!! Winged Wheel is the best, ESPN even said so....

I am not saying Sammy will turn the puck over because he is Sammy. I think any forward on D is a bad idea. You should only do that as a last resort, and let us face it we have so many great puck moving Defensemen we should not be gambling at all. Now Sammy needs to be on the forth line reguardless, he isn't a top six forward. I hate that they are going to put Franzen on the third line and Sammy on the Second. I blame Sammy for Zetters drop in production. I rarely single out anyone player, but he really isn't good enough to be a top six for us, and we have enough role players. For his sake he should move on to a new team first chance he gets. Now this comparing him to others is not really hitting the point. Remember that Malts is a defensive forward, so his points are not the biggest thing the Wings are looking for. I think Sammy Hudler and drake should be the fourth line. Grind for third. Franzen Filp Cleary and Zetter Pavel Homer first. BTW Kopecky is starting IMO to look like a player.

Was the last goal on the powerplay? I think it was but fantasy shows it wasn't and I need the pluses from the three wings out there. Did the PP time expire?

Hard to keep a line together when one of the guys is injured. Homer is out sir.

Oh and Fabin is a quick guy, can play any forward position and is a pure scorer.

These are actually the two guys I think they will get, I actually had a discussion with a friend of mine in Virgina about this a couple of weeks ago. Rolston only for the right price and that means like 3mill, so hometown discount. Fabin would be great reguardless of what he does just because its such a boost to your Farm system to get someone like this for free. It would allow us more options at trade deadlines if nothing else. I would also like us to try and sign that Fin who is in the same boat as Fabin. I believe his name is Vilos or something... I really should take notes or something

Uhhh Bure totally is better then Fedorov, but Lidstrom is maybe the best player at his position ever soooooo. Yeah. I am sorry but Fedorov is not better the Bure, so yeah if you think so you are just a homer.

I really don't get how anyone can make Simon right, but the NHL sure did. Simon should sue the league for that money back they took. This bulls*** that its different because he was trying to get loose is crazy. He was trying to get loose, got pissed that he was being held and stomped on him with a damn blade. It was a dumb jerk letting his emotions get the best of him, punish him fairly. This pisses me off so bad, and yet this suspension does nothing but helps the Ducks get ready to win another cup.

I am just a big Boston fan, they have some good youngsters now. They have my favourite non-Wing center in Savard, plus how can you not feel great for Timmy Tom.
