Thats really dumb to say. Bertuzzi did end the career of Moore. Pronger could have easly done the same with Kessler. The only difference is Kessler had some protection on. So because of that you would absolve Pronger? So If I fire a gun at a cop, can I get off by saying well it hit his bulletproof vest and he didn't die? Hell no, I would be going to jail for attempted murder. Pronger should be getting hit with the same suspesnsion because reguardless of intent or outcome, he attacked him with an extremely dangerous weapon. If he cut his Achelles tendon, Kessler would never play again.

hahaha you are right NBC seems to think Sid is the only player in the league. It is okay by me, that way more of our games are on FSN where I don't have to hear idiots ramble on about the other team.

Bertuzzi did think about this attack before hand. I still think though you are right, this attack was with something that we just saw nearly killed Zednik. It is very sharp and could have ended his career if it cut certain parts of his leg. Bertuzzi got suspended because of the damage done by his acts. Pronger will get a slap on the wrist because of the lack of damage. Which is a horrible policy.

This ten game stuff is bull. It reminds me of Pronger getting one game last year during our serries when he deserved more. The team rallied to compensate and played even better then if he were in. I personally think if you don't take him away for at least one PO serries he is just going to keep being an evil bastard. I agree totally with Simon. They both are the same kind of player, dirty with a long history of being jerks on the ice. The only difference is one is a superstar that is extremely important to a top tier team that has an overly influential GM that whines extenstively. The NHL will pat themselves on the back for 10 game suspension, how brave of you to cave into accusations of having double standards, by giving a suspension that will not hurt the ducks or Pronger at all and confirming a double standard. I am willing to conceed that it wasn't premediatated, and that should shave off like 5-10 games off of the 30 Simon got. He still took a sharpened blade and violently thrusted it towards a human being. He should get 30 games, which is better then what he would get on the street. I have nothing but hatred for Pronger, and he deserves no respect or special treatment. I do not think anyone has any reason to disagree. The NHL should suspend him, and anything less then 20 games I think is proof of a double standard.

NONONONONONO Replay is horrible in the NFL. The NHL has the best replay system. It simply needs to be tweeked to include more things they can look for. Never place the replay in the hands of the refs or the coaches. The waroom does a good job all things considered. If you change it you will simply slow down the game and anger fans even more when they don't overturn things. Honestly, the San Jose debacle would have not been a problem if they were allowed to review it. Same goes for Buffalos win.

Who was the ref btw? I saw it, and imediately thought, hmmm Anaheim game, Sharks game. At least those blown games were not for a playoff birth. This was quite possibly the deciding factor. Depends on how much, I really love Cleary. Yet part of our success has been based on the fact that guys like Cleary, Homer, Draper, and others are bargins. I really hope he realizes we gave his career a second breath of life. He really owes us a discount at least once IMO. less then 3 million for sure. He should take a contract like Homer's. How about next year he gets 5 million every other year 2?? That way he gets his reward and doesn't hurt our cap when it counts, when Zetters new contract kicks in.

That Lighthouse, is it being built for sure??? Because that is amazing. It reminds me of the fantasy concept I drew up for a new JLA. The major difference is there would be four towers two short and two tall with the two short facing the Detroit River. Also the roof would be clear and the top back rows where the top camera is could look out and see the river/Canada the towers closest to the river would have rooftop bars that would keep people there before and after the game and a hotel as well. The other two towers would be mostly condos and such.
