Not at all semantics. Mad would be pissed, like adding Claude Lemiux to the lineup. Disapointed is that I liked Prospal and he went cheap to someone else. I would have liked to have him. I really love how this is all about me hating holland or being panic oriented. If you weren't scare of that you simply are not a Wings fan. Holland is most prob the best GM in the league, dissapointment in a hand full of trades missed means nothing more then that. Brad Richards, the extension ensures Brad Richards is getting shipped. Dallas is the best bet there, but I still think it will be a surpise blockbuster. Just a feeling.

This is what upsets me, it seems Prospal was one of the few players on the cheap. Philly got him for next to nothing, which is what we shoulda did. I am rarely dissapointed in kenny, but Ottawa and Phillys trades make me dissapointed in him. I think Cammaleri and Staios should be our targets now. I fear we aren't getting the forward we need....

Tampa is now looking at keeping St Louis and moving Richard, possibly for Brian Campbell provided he signs a contract. They still want Montoya. I think.... Richard is going for Hossa. Montoya is going to be aquired in some other manner.

Apparently the playing this weekend is way off. I don't know where he got that from, but the contract is exactly what he said it was, and the hold up is exactly what he said it was. Talks are about incentives added. BTW, they were planing on signing McCarty even if he was terrible in GR. The prorated contract of 100k is not even worth speaking of this year to Holland. He has looked really good in the last two games. I have to ask, is this going to make him less likely to be a part of a deal or more likely? I thought Quincey was the 7th dman but in GR due to the fact he can clear waivers. Now maybe Meech is supplanting him? let's see how it goes, but one thing is for sure another wrinkle in the trade deadline drama has been made. I am wondering where he was as well. This extra time sure makes him look like a viable replacement due to injury on a playoff run.

Well, I don't think either is going to be a long term fit for our team. I do however think they may have what it takes to be 6 and 7th defensemen. Perhaps that means we don't need a depth defensemen via trade, and now will look at only top four defensemen or none at all. There were many cough ups and miscues and such, but as the games are progressing they too are looking sharp all things considering. I mean only one goal allowed in the last two games with such an inexperienced group of players and only five on the bench. I think I feel alot better reguardless of what happens.

He could have been a piece to a trade with them, now if they want one more player at the end of it we will have to give up someone else! They should have packaged him in a deal and offered it before putting him on waivers. Well good luck Ellis.
