Wrong, they need to be healthy and play hard if they expect to win the cup. We are better then every other team as is. A wrong move will do more damage then good. Especally considering that it looks like next year we will prob be even better in terms ofhaving even more depth and youth with experience playing our system. We will reguardless be better off if we can move two depth dmen 7 or lower on the depth chart to clear room. Meech and Quincey I am looking your way, no hard feelings eh. I wouldn't have minded picking up these two players (stillman and Mike). They both have a soft spot in my heart, and move from one of my top ten favourite teams to my second favorite team. I wish them all the luck in the world, and hope stillman gets his game back for my fantasy playoffs! Good deal.

I want his number, anyone have it? I want to tell this guy what I think of him. If I was there I would have been on his ass so hard and throwing things and just crazy. They need to be held accountable. I want an admittence that he was wrong and an apology.

Dude, it was horrible, but it was only one game out of many. This is definately one of the minority games, plus every other sport has this problem and more often. This is one game given away by the refs this year. I can think of at least one game given away this season to the lions, and thats a huge percentage. I also think every NBA champion is decided by the refs, and there was a scandle to prove it. I just wish the refs were held responsible. I want fines, suspensions, or at least an apology. Worse still none of the players or refs can say anything bad or they will get in trouble. If this was world cup soccer Dan would have prob been killed. Earlier in the day I would have been fine with that.

I hate to have to point this out, but when they got him to the bench he went limp and seems to have passed out. I fear that there could be the potential for brain damage. God help him.

Man I was so angry after our game that I didn't catch this. Zednik is one of my favourite players because of how he fought to come back after cancer. He is a class act and I really hate to see this happen to someone like him. Why couldn't have been Dan O'Halloran... Maybe I shouldn't say that but we can all agree that Zednik doesn't deserve this and wish him a speedy recovery.

hmmmm my fav goalie is going to be Manny, just because he is making it. Kudos. I think Dion, Koivu, Sedin (guess which ), Gaborik, and oh man is this a tough call. I cannot say how good it is to hear this. Simply put now it isn't our fault whatever happens, it is all on him. I don't think Bertuzzi being injured was the reason he didn't help us. The reason he did not help us was that he did not fit our system what so ever. We were all excited on the boards because he brought what we didn't have, meaness. Well there are some that will not fit in and some that will, Holland usually gets those who do and I hope he continues to do as such. I think that Rob Blake would fit in and him being injured may allow for a better deal so we should be happy. Personally I want this deal to be made. Our first and second picks, Meech, Kopecky, Hartigan, and Quincey. Blake and Cammallari. Not one of those players will be missed over the long term or short term. It gives LA alot to play with and they would be moving two players they want to move(who knows why) If it takes more draft picks then go ahead. I think then you sign McCarty for depth and if any injuries occur you can go to Helm, Kindl, and Ericsson. The defense would be even better then the Ducks of last year, and Cam on the second line would make us stacked.

This helps the trade, he was the best bet going in and still is. Honestly if you can give up a first Quincey and/or Meetch, and Grigs you not only make your D the scariest maybe ever, but you clear the D for two year which is perfect. That gives time for Ericsson, Kindl, Pyett, and Smith time to grow into the Wings lineup. Honestly Blake will be in red soon, and he will resign for a three year deal prob in the range of 3.5 million and decending. I also think no more changes will be made via trade, but McCarty will be resigned in a no brainer depth move. I wouldn't however expect McCarty to play. Just be depth. That would be all we need more experienced depth and grit. Though if Hossa could be had for that first rounder sammy meech quincey grigs and kopecky I'd do it. all other players and prospects I deem off limits.

Seeing Zetter just scored his 30th and there are 29 games left, there is a significant chance for 50 goals for the Z. I think he can do this if he stays healthy for sure. Thoughts? Also I will also point out that 29 games left and 23 wins left to tie our wins mark.... Five wins for every loss will get us another record. I am hoping for 64 because that would be a better sounding record. What else may I have missed?

I would like to also adress this concept that we should bring back pieces of our past like Feds and Mac. WHY?!?!?! We are doing fantastic and will only get better with time. We have prospects and players and a foundation in place to win now. I say don't push anything until Lids retires, then you can start acting crazy.

I would like to see one trade with the Kings to aquire two players. How about a first rounder, a second rounder, Meech, Quincey, and Grigorenko for Camallari, Blake, and maybe a fourth or fifth round pick. I think we need to make room for young dmen coming up, and I don't feel like forfiting any offensive depth right now.

Well Kronner going down may have just guarenteed the Wings picking up Blake, Sydor, or Boyle.

Always depends on the deal. Sometimes standing pat is worse reguardless. Right now though, I have a hard time seeing where to improve. We have absurd depth and ice time needs to increase for so many of our players. I really don't want to lose any of our prospects or players right now. If you give me someone amazing that might change. I just think we are strong now, and have strength down the road. I hope that we do the right thing. I trust always in Holland, though the Bertuzzi trade has shaken that trust slightly.
