Indeed I do talk of beckham. Quince is solid, I think his patience is rare in such a young player, and I hope he sticks with our team.

Elkund says these players are on the Detroit radar.

I wouldn't mind Ekman, because he is our type of player. I know that he could be depth player that would free up people like Franzen or cleary for the second line and bring their tenacious play to the fore front. Markov of course is someone I would like to have, I would much rather him be the Lilja of the team then Lilja. According to these projections, the team could end up looking very weird. What a crappy OTR, wtfc about soccer. Let alone David Beckem. Let me know if Quincy is on talking about hockey. Anyone who expects him to make any difference is living in a dream land.

All I know is I want it. Give me this, and get rid of Vs. I could watch this channel all day.

I hate everything Easton makes. Stick I love the Warrior/innovative. Jofa for shins elbows, RBK helmet, and whatever gloves you like man. Skates are the hardest, because they have different foot templetes so you have to find the ones that fit the best. sry.

Who will challenge the Wings for Central title?
Majsheppard replied to Bert44Wingsfan's topic in General
hahahahahahaha, LMAO. -
Lindros intrested in Detroit, Detroit interested in Sopel I know I don't want Lindros for anything more then min money and min ice time. Sopel on the otherhand is intriguing, and may make us so deep in D that we can buy most any forward at the deadline. Thoughts?

Victoria Cup in the works. With the Games in London and the money situation in Europe becoming more supportive of international professional Hockey there is a possible deal in the works to send the top team in Europe(as to be decided via a 60 game tournament format.) to Montreal to play the top NHL team in a yearly serries for the Victoria Cup. Thoughts?
-
You need to trade a player prospect and picks. By no means am I saying you could trade one for one. You are a fool if you think having more options in a trade is a bad thing.
-
Worst case scenario, we have so much depth that a trade at the deadline becomes easier. I would welcome him back for less then 3.3 million.
-
He could be good, but just wait and see as some make can step into the NHL and others need to fight their way. To me though I want both Kindl and Ericson to be a part of this teams future.

They would definately give it a chance on Vs. and NBC. I mean if ESPN is going to show some English soccer player, then they prob would think about showing a first of it's kind game in the NHL vs Europe. I just wonder what happens when the Wings end up playing their own prospects when we come up against a Sweedish powerhouse team.

People, the ESPN please watch me Who's Now serries is not about who is the better athlete or anything like that. It is just who is the bigger public figure. You know who is now, in a rapper sense. Very popular. While I agree Crosby is a much bigger deal in every aspect then Jeter in the sports term, in America Crosby isn't even on the radar compared to the most popular player on one of the most popular (and polarizing) teams in America. Which also happens to be in the most populated U.S. Cities. Yes there was a close vote that put Crosby on top. If you put faith in it being 70% in the fans hands then that vote would have seen Crosby getting 36% and Jeter 34%. The final 30% would have gone to Jeter by these "experts" because they are the ones who designed this thing to get viewership and they know the rules. I hate to say ESPN is right, because they are only in the technical sense, but they only following the format they laid out. In terms of trancending the sport, Jeter tops Crosby. In terms of owning the sport, Crosby trumps Jeter. Let me quickly add that the real crime is them ignoring everything else in Hockey, especally when it is at its best. They think that Nielson is king, and nielson tells them hockey is dead. only 900 Nielson Families in Metro Detroit to represent 9 million people. That is why ESPN has no damn clue, because our country has none. I mean why else does quality tv keep getting burried under s***.

crappy fight because that coward had the visor. Take it off and fight like a man.
-
Don't want him, unless we can trade his ass at the deadline for the same package Philly got.
-
Lebda and Quincy before Lilja.
-
He's already been to heaven once, I wish him well travels in his return.
-
I agree this schedule sucks. The NHL seems intent on making the teams that have fans become so disintersted so the entire league can collapse.
-
I was wondering if anyone can dig up some old school photos of Drake in the winged wheel.
-
All Drakes signing means is that we are not expecting to get any top six fowards. Drake can free up Johan or Cleary from forth or third line duties to go up and be a top six guy. That is what that means, which means that if anymore money was going to be spent it would most likely be on a Dman. More likely is no more money is going to be spent.

I could use more bullets for a trade showdown.
-
That's me. And that is why I did that. I would serriously give him a contract for life along the lines of Pavel's. Just do it now so I don't have to worry about it.
-
Because if you don't put him on the third line, that line will be terrible offensively.
-
I don't know how many times I have to say this. Remember how Holland had signed Cleary, and he was looking washed up, and he made the team and now we all love him. Well that doesn't happen every time, you have to sign alot of people to find some that work. So just shut up about this and every other borderline signing, because you might look like a damn fool if they become a real asset.
-
The Minors is the Wings guy. You have to keep that stocked for depth, and bring in good quality guys to help develop your prospects. Of course you could have said a signing like Cleary was a minor league move when it happened because it didn't look like he would make the team. Then he surprised people. The signings help all the same and did not interfere with his free agent signings. The only thing that did impeed his ability to sign people is the cap and the time spent arguing with Hasek over a few dollars. The minors didn't have anything to do with a quiet offseason.
