Last year, Osgood wasn't healthy. Besides, we don't need an upgrade at goal, we need an upgrade at D. Is an above-average skater and puck-handler. Owns a big shot from the point. FLAWS: Lacks ideal size for the NHL, especially in front of his own net. Can go into offensive slumps from time to time. CAREER POTENTIAL: Mobile, yet diminutive defenseman.

Ugh, I hate to sound like eva, but there is no reason to do that. Honestly we need to get something for him. If there is nothing available I would only put him on waivers if we had someone lined up and need the money for them. Right now I don't know if there is someone out there like that. This free agency period sucks. Might as well keep Hudler until the trade deadline and hope he creates the leverage then. If not, then put him on waivers.
