It wasn't his fault yet he really was upset with himself and I think he wasn't letting it go, I hope this doesn't stick in his head. When it comes right down to it, how many times did we steal a game this year like Nashville stole one from us? I am also going to be mad if this leads to Nashville being the team matching up against SJ. That would be the easiest round for them and would ensure they stay fresh for round two. Meanwhile we are pretty much stuck playing a hard first matchup now... We just might have the toughest path to the finals now, unless some intresting stuff happens. Franzen is a goal scorer and goes to the net better then even Zetterberg, and he does that with his size. I will take a dozen Franzen types over one big guy that does nothing but fight or try to lay on the big hit.

I remember in the offseason posting that all the teams in the Central would make the playoffs within three years. I stand by that. They really all could this year, though unlikely. They are all getting awesome.

They had a great deadline. They weren't makign the playoffs, and they improved their team in the short run and the long run. They really need Dman in FA other then that the team is pretty stocked.

Guy never had anything to play for. He has never been on a true contender, wait and see him explode. Leopold is much bigger of a deal as it provides them a puck mover that is going to energize the backline. They aren't the Wings, but they are definately in it. It is a four team race in the West; Wings, Sharks, Flames, and whoever the surprise team is going to be because there is always one.
