Once again - I cannot disagree but will post anyways........I happen to enjoy what Mozart/Lidstorm does on the ice. The great ones make it look effortless.....every time. .......BUT........<-----the big but: SOMETIMES I also enjoy changing the station over to a different frequency. "All Tool all the time". "You ran my guy and now you hafta pay". (And then they go after the guy who ran my guy, then pound him into bite-sized pieces.) For instance: If someone runs Nick, the Red Wings, on the next faceoff would line up.......geez.....I can't finish this sentence either.............

Don't sweat the kid thing. My dad took me to my first game ever at about that age. It was a Windsor Spitfire bench clearing brawl. I was so excited I think I peed my pants. I wanted to go to EVERY hockey game since. Just in case. Don't sell 'em short. 7 yr olds are smarter than grownups by far. aloha

Totally sorry about that. My bad. ----------------------------------------------------- All in all I'm not one who considers it very important at all to see an NHL hockey game in a 'nice' place. It almost detracts from the experience. Course I also liked going to games alone.....all by myself. I'm weird. I like the crunch of my peanut husks under my feet, the rude staff, annoying away-team fans, the cold walk to and from the arena - the whole deal. I did however catch a game in the Sharks new arena years back. I'll admit - Wow. The usher was pleasant to us? Saw our jerseys (not Sharks) and asked if we'd like to go down by the glass to watch the skate-around. The beers were icy cold and in hard plastic cups (hate icky wax).......the men's rooms were tidy and always at about 20% capacity.....good food.....concourse is wide and easily navigated......only part that sucked was Probie was a healthy scratch for the Hawks (not sure who was more upset - me or him). Guess I wouldn't mind if the Wings moved. But I'm not signing a petition for it either. aloha

That logo looks WAY better than if you saved up a 40 gallon HEFTY bag of cat diarrhea and threw it on the Red Wings Jerseys before each game during the pregame skate. But I'd say we skip both options for now. Stick with that old wheel. aloha

Hey! I believe that back in the day, I was the one pointing out that Lebda carded 2 pts in the Wings first 4 games of the season and THEN Kenny sent him down when someone got healthy? He plays hockey just like I do. Well, except he skates well. And can shoot......and he sees the ice real good.....and he's in good shape......and smart......and can pass it right on the tape all the time......other then that we're twins. aloha

I have always enjoyed your cogent posts.....and this is still the issue that we'll never get square. Shame. I'd offer you a big manly hetero-hug right now, but I think you'd call for a 10 game suspension. Listen to the last 1/2 minute of that #24 v Domi footage: "um who knows, if I go and run someone on his team he'll be right there in my face, and vice versa". I think the ones that accept the blows to the forehead/nose/chin/neck/ears/eye/brow/nose and nose again know better than you or I. Maybe you're right and these guys are buggy-whips today. Then I'm sad. I'm gonna watch that Bruins v. Wings youtube instead of any upcoming preseason s***. aloha

Agreed. Wish I still lived in Det(s)troit. But only if my last name were Ford. I think the Lions actually lost more home games than the Wings did last regular season. aloha

While technically she's not a member yet (She wears her brother's old #19 jersey sometimes), I WISH i could share some of her latest images but alas......... THE CURTAIN OF INVISIBILTY FORBIDS IT! We cannot see her in these pics. She'd already run between the curtain and the 6' glass doorwall to the outside. She took the entire bag of Cheerios from Daddy. aloha
