Never really have understood any of the Grapes wrath (sorry for that) around these parts, and have often held back from commenting. But agree with him, not, or like his suits or not? Geez people - how overlooked is his interestingness? You could take away 99.99% of the f(*&^ng talking heads in nice suits found on espn(s) and the other channels and know what? I might never notice. Heard Barry say the same thing about random signings for kids up in the front rows of the SilverDome back in the day. Said he saw too many times during the season - would sign something "for a kid" only to IMMEDIATELY see the kid hand it to an adult for an impromptu auction a few rows back. Personalized stuff was the way to go for him. Sorta a bummer for all. Personally I wouldn't give a red cent for any body's signature. I own a pen, it is full of ink, and can look up how to spell almost any name.

I do agree with your numbers. But why should I care if the NHL Stanley Cup Finals get SuperBowl TV ratings or if they get LPGA ratings? I hate to single your post out, but I am confused, and tired of hearing about the NHL's popularity, and I didn't want to start a seperate thread on the subject. Why should I care about the TV ratings? I'm willing to learn.
