My wife hasn't shaved anything since these playoffs began. Wings are up 2-1 in the WCF, last game was a 5-0 shutout....hey.......she's a trooper.

Not at all sure about a man-crush, but I'm pretty sure my wife is getting tired of me telling her exactly what Cleary just did during each game of this playoff run.

He got off at least a couple really good shots in that gm 3. Dom just said no.

Not a thread jack - just a sidenote................................... For those of you who may have missed it: The Detroit Red Wings lost fewer regular season home-games than the Detroit Lions did this past season.

Good luck in game 4. I'm guessing most of your Ducks got a pretty good 'yelling at / talking to' for the last few hours. They are ALL going to bed without dessert or a story. They've got some serious thinking to do. Would not surprise me at all to have this series at 2-2 after game 4. Honestly - good for you for chiming in after a pretty bad beating.

I think Bert (13' 9", 715lbs) could do some damage. But why bother? Let the Ducks think about inflicting pain, sending messages, making runs at guys, being young and tough and stuff. I'd just add/amend - when are they gonna start handing out the 10 games in a proper manner? For instance: Pronger should be suspended for his next 10 games vs. the Detroit Red Wings. I don't care if he gets traded 13x during his 10 game stint.....Why should San Jose or the Nucks or perhaps 10 OTHER teams reap the benefit, next reg season, from the Wings 'losing' a player from last yrs WCF? (I'm just using tonight's game as an example here.)

Fuggit......I know some of you are sick of me, and surely sick of hearing this: Remember the "Entertainment Book"? About a 3" thick book of coupons sold to raise funds right? Silver and black in color. My dad used to take me to the Joe when it first opened. $11/seat.....but the coupon got us a bogo. (Buy-one-get-one) 11 bucks.....me and my dad. NOT $450. And we would march our asses down to some really good empty seats 1/2 way through the first too. I'm 'old'....but not really that old. Talking about the late 70's.......early 80s here. 11 dollars. You make some valid assertions. I scratch my head during some Wings games and ask some of these same questions. Why did he wait to shoot? How come we don't run their goalkeep? (not pointing solely at this series here) Why rip another 85' slapper into the shins of that FWD again? Why such WEAK clearing attempts? etc etc etc.......... Guess my point is that I do think the Wings can bring more than these 1st 2 games, regardless of what any opponent might be doing. And also I'd add - be a little careful about that home-ice thing - sometimes teams come out a bit tight in front of the homecrowd. Hey we'll see! The series is even......A game, B game or C game......maybe that should be scary for the Ducks?
