i've seen this team do alot of thing this year, we could win it all,.....the oil last year did squat until they got rollie and samsonov. It's all about teams ketching fire at the right time. depends on what he wants to do honestly. If it's for the right price, he'll be back, if not one of our young guys could make it up. What no one is saying here is if schneider isn't back you can almost bet lilly pads is back in the starting lineup

i'm totally aware of when, by who, and what was expected of daigle, therein i started the topic and did some research,...my point in all this is why does daigle have high expectation and plays like crap, but say,.....sidney crosby has same expectation (a little less believe it or not) and does in fact not play like crap.

see goaltending is something about the leauge that has always fascinated me. It seems some teams populate the NHL with netminders. Dallas has always had strong goaltending, SJ had nabokov and kipper on the same team at one point, Tampa had to buy a goalie to get a cup (so did we in 02 lol) but now couldn't have a strong goaltending game to save there lives. That said the blues are an intresting case right now. Manny will always be a backup in my opinion the only person that doesn't know that is him, which is lots of gutz on his part and good on him for it, but he's not the answer for them. Sanford isn't a starter either but he's solid from time to time. This "Backwash" kid looks like the kind that would need a lot of shots to be effective, which he could get in a blues uniform. I think that the blues being a team of high historical pedegree arn't going to sit buy and let good free agent goaltending pass them buy for much longer. I gotta feeling this kid will get lost in the shuffle.

i realize you don't know me personally, and i didn't represent it that way. But i know that. But he didn't make it, he was the next great hockey player, he was the chosen one. The man who'd shatter all the records and be the guy we would say "gretzky was great, so was howe, but Daigle,..he was something" and he just flat out wasnt. i know alot of people don't know cleary's history, but he really was touted like that. Not as much as Daigle but he was the blackhawks first pick in i believe the 98 draft i'm to lazy to go check,..someone will correct me if i'm wrong and he was supposed to be a highly gifted offensive specialist,..well he totally floundered, and now he's a highly touted work a holic the absoutly opposite of daigle.
